Luckily whenever I watch un-translated clips of Asian dramas that are Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, or Taiwanese Mandarin then I could understand it because I'm part Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese (Father: Vietnamese Mom: born in Korea, spoke Vietnamese to Grandma, Grandma: born in Vietnam raised in Japan, Grandma: half Chinese) and I learnt Taiwanese Mandarin as a language. 😉✌️ Strict family though, not easy!
