Marvin John Heemeyer was an automobile muffler repair shop owner who demolished numerous buildings with a modified bulldozer in Granby, Colorado, on June 4, 2004. Heemeyer had feuded with Granby town officials, particularly over fines for violating city health ordinances. Over about eighteen months, Heemeyer had secretly modified a Komatsu D355A bulldozer by adding layers of steel and concrete, intended to serve as armor. Three external explosions and more than 200 rounds of ammunition fired at the bulldozer had no effect on it. On June 4, 2004, Heemeyer's feud with Granby culminated in a spree in which he used the armored bulldozer to demolish the Granby town hall, the former mayor's house, and several other buildings Heemeyer's rampage concluded with his death, after his bulldozer became trapped in the basement of a hardware store he had been in the process of destroying.

Next one for this story: August 2018 - Russell, 29, who worked for Horizon Air as a ground service agent, took off in an empty Q400 turboprop plane from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport without authorization at around 7:30 p.m. Friday and performed aerial maneuvers that included what appeared to be a loop during the around hour-long flight before the plane crashed on sparsely populated Ketron Island, officials said. ... In recordings of air-traffic control radio, Russell appeared to tell controllers that he was surprised by how much fuel he'd burned through. At another point he says,"I've got a lot of people that care about me. It’s going to disappoint them to hear that I did this," and "I would like to apologize to each and every one one of them. My family moved to Granby 3 days after it happened, so I think the understanding was very speculative until the tapes were realised. (The office my dad was going into at his new job was demolished in the incident. Over the years, we became family friends with the guy who used the earth mover to try and stop him, along with the chief of the swat team... Suffice it to say, there were many opinions, but it is rural Colorado, and people generally don't like much interference from local gov. in their day-to-day lives. I think many understood his reasons; however, those with those views, with business in town, were upset at not only the cost of repair but the town for its corruption and irreverence in the smallest of matters. In every small town, the government plays favourites if anything; a lot changed on that front in the following years. I mean, it's a small small town, so saying his name was taboo as many people knew marv. It was something that, over time, was not talked about much in the town. Instead, there was just a collective understanding of the existence of both viewpoints. People at large thought it was weird to have something on national t.v. from the small town. If anything. (edit- spelling)
@jimboslicereal
@jimboslicereal Жыл бұрын
@@humansvd3269 , in short, the town government did change afterwards, and opinions of business rights did as well. There is something, in this case, to be said about groupthink before the event. Marv, did not want to kill; I think so much is evident per the ballistic evidence from his firearms; there is no evidence he tried to kill but instead sent a message through financial destruction. He had his reservations about those in power, but I think he understood that people outside of their job are just as human as he was. BTW the police in Granby got dripped the hell out with some cool kit afterwards though lmao.

To be living in the town when this occured, it must have been legitimatly panic-inducing to have a Killdozer running through town. Now with time and an outsider's view, it all comes across as an unaired Dukes of Hazzard episode. It's funny how perception works

The fact that he tried going through every proper channel first to fix his issue and was ignored speaks to how fucked up our society is and that he was really justified in what he did. No one was hurt except for the greedy fucks who refused to do any thing to fix the problem he had. He was reasonable at every turn until they forced him to be "unreasonable".

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

So much destruction from the rage of a single man. Nobody was hurt except those large buisnesses that had to pay for the damages. They brought it upon themselves for screwing this man over again and again. He didnt do this because he was crazy, he knew what he was doing deliberatly targeting specific buildings and activley avoiding people. His anger truly was righetous, let it inspire others to take the real fight to *them*

The fact they were considering getting AT-4s and Apache’s is hilarious considering all it was was a Kumatso D355a with an Armored sarcophagus and gun ports. It goes to show just how strong shit can be made with a little bit of know how. For all info please visit Count Dankula’s mad lad video on him
@rapidandpensive-dl7dr
@rapidandpensive-dl7dr 5 ай бұрын
Dankula lies just like most paid bloggers. Namely: he talks about “increasing the price.” Marvin never increased the price of his property. There were no negotiations between Marvin and Cody, so there could be no “price increase.” Why don’t people think about who benefits from slander and misinformation??
