In a spectacular display of teamwork and cultural celebration, the Govindas of Jai Jawan Govinda Pathak team have soared into the Guinness Book of World Records by forming the tallest human pyramid ever recorded. Achieving a remarkable feat in Mumbai, the team successfully smashed a ‘dahi handi’ placed at the dizzying height of 44 feet. Dahi Handi, a vibrant part of the Janmashtami festival, saw youngsters, dressed in colourful attire, coming together to form a human pyramid with the goal of reaching and breaking the handi suspended high above. The final govinda, climbing to the apex of the pyramid, triumphantly smashed the earthen pot, marking a moment of jubilation and shared accomplishment. This achievement has not been surpassed since then.
