I‘m so happy that she‘s going with her Original Formula in her - for me - Original Packaging. I have The feeling that she is experimenting in her limited Editions - Tropic ans Safari - and I Hope this plastic cases are only Use for the LE. I hate them ;). It Would be great in she sticks with her old formula also for her LE....well we will see whats happend in the next big one ;) Great review and look as always Mel. :)

I got this a few days ago but I haven't made time to use it yet so I was really hoping your review was positive! I'm so happy that she's returning to her old formula. I think what happened is that the old formula was expensive to make and she thought she could do it cheaper, but realized it was gonna cost her more in the long run to lose her best customers. Why else would she mess with perfection?

I’ve seen other reviews on this palette but yours is the best so far. Both looks are beautiful. It seems that the real reason to purchase this one would be driven by whether or not somebody will use those peacock and lime gold shades. I never would. But that’s just me. Looks like a quality product. Thanks for doing two looks.

After returning the Safari palette, I was also hesitant to buy this one. Thank God I went ahead and grabbed it because I KNOW this one will sell out FAST!! I got mine yesterday. It's fantastic!! You did the BEST job of anybody when it came to showcasing the colors and texture. The palette always looks like all the shades are more or less the same... till I seen this video today. Gorgeous palette. She had one a few years back that was greens & browns ( I think it was over $200) & I looooved it. Nobody was doing green & that is my favorite eyeshadow color ( after brown of course) I'm kind of tempted by this ...& I don't even like glitter. ..well, it doesn't like me. Hooded eye problems. 😢 Glad ND was redeemed for you !

yensid have you tried glitter glue instead of primer? I personally don’t care that the glitter explodes on my lid, but the Nyx glitter glue does help keep things in place when I care to lol. Nothing is 100% on hooded lids though. Don’t let anyone fool you into buying $20 glitter glue.

@@rosam9239 Yes, I've used glitter glue. Eye primers & glitter glue irritate my eyes & cause them to turn red, burn & swell. So I usually just use concealer or Mac Paint Pot. I don't mind glitter in a cream or gel base, but I detest it in a powder eyeshadow. I don't like the fallout or the transfer. I prefer high shine shimmers or metallics in any formulation. Glitter is not that flattering to 59 year old eyes 😩

I've got hooded eyes too, just at 31. Metallics are starting to turn on me like traitorous bastards!! I like using the micro glitter shadows from Korean/Japanese brands. They were the OG MAC dazzle shadows. It's a sheer glitter formula you can tap on with a finger. Does Ulta still do glitter eye shadows? I've got Fairy Princess. It's a close dupe. I just take my pinky or a silicone brush, dab a bit and rub it on the socket bone ABOVE my lid. Its sheer and sparkle! It looks so classy. When we've got hooded eyes, I look to those with ethnic hooded eyes for the best advice. My hair is super thick too, you best believe I pay attention to WOC! They saved it!

You are so right about WOC, instead of tapping on my keyboard & yelling at people in KZbin comments to not buy such & such a brand because they're not inclusive, I prefer to buy from indie cosmetics companies owned by WOC. They have the BEST eyeshadow ♡ My current fave is Coloured Raine. I love their mini palettes & singles. I have very thick, wavy unruly hair too. Took forever to find a stylist who knew how to layer it properly & the best combo of products so I don't have to spend hours fighting its natural texture or destroy it with heat styling. My vacuum cleaner & bathroom drain are a constant bother lol. Everyone's hooded eyes are different. I always had very sunken, recessed eyes with little mobile lid visible when my eyes were open & relaxed. With age & gravity, they've gotten "puffier" & more hooded. Sigh. When skin is rubbing against skin with every blink, there's just not much you can do about transfer unfortunately:( I try to keep the shiny bits to the inner corner or as an accent to the center of a matte lid color. Sometimes I'll use metallics as a liner just to add a pop of shine.
