20 years ago today...an amazing album like Meteora changed the way I saw music. Listening to it for the first time I wish I could go back to as a 13 year old. I remember getting it at Walmart and popping the CD in and man, there was no going back. Every song spoke to me and many others youth. Thank you Linkin Park for an amazing album like this.

lyrics aren't music. my english is ok now, but when i was younger lyrics meant nothing to me, i liked the music style, i liked the feeling i got from those songs, even tho i understood half or less of the lyrics. They changed their style over the years, and liked all of their previous albums, i didn't care about their style changing cause they still had that feeling, that energy unique to linkin park. And now i don't find it, so please, don't tell people that because it's linkin park lyrics, they should go with it.. I have my own taste of music, and just because lyrics are great it won't make me appreciate a song. linkin park music, for me i'd say, is a whole and not just lyrics or song. some people may seem disappointed, but in reality they are just sad to not find that linkin park spirit they used to like.

I have a strange relationship with this song. Whenever it came up I just skipped it. I just don't know why. I heard Meteora and Hybrid Theory for as long as I can remember myself, listening to every song except this one. It was some kind of trigger, it started, 4 seconds have passed and I already pressed "Next". I have always, always, skipped it. for 19 YEARS. Then, a few months ago I was on my way to work, crawling on the highway. This song came up, I looked at the phone, but did not reach this time to skip. Something told me not to. Then this song played, and I have been blessed with a new, amazing track I have never ever heard, by my favorite band. There I am, sitting, a 32 year old guy with tears in his eyes. I don't know why I have prevented myself from listening to it for so long but it is like a gift I gave my 13 year old skipping self. You know when you tell someone "You have never heard that band\seen this show?? Woah I wish I was in your place", so this is me, telling me this, discovering a brand new old song by this amazing band. As I said, strange. but beautiful
