Just my random opinion here: I personally don't think the choreography crossed a line of any sort, but I think it was too much. There's nothing inherently wrong with vulgarity itself, but the choreographer clearly tried incredibly hard to make it sexy that it came across as very forced. Also, I don't think either of them did very well dancing this, which is sad because I know that they're both normally very good dancers. Idk if it was the style, tempo, whatever, but neither of them seemed clean and Steph felt really stiff and overexaggerated. They felt very awkward with each other, no emotion chemistry at all. It felt like neither of them were really into it. On an unrelated note: I love Ten so much! His resting face is just like mine (We both look mean when we're not smile.). I much preferred his performance.

To be honest I wish he had chosen a different partner for this dance. Don’t get me wrong, I really respect Stephanie as a dancer but I know that she was trained in ballet. It shows in her dancing and I don’t think this style suited her well at all. She was very stiff and her movements were sloppy. One thing I love about Hyuseung's dancing is that he is always on rhythm. He's not one of those dancers who just follow choreography blindly or tries to stay on beat with everyone else. If you watched the dance for troublemaker you can see that clearly. The way the dance is choreographed was meant for both genders to shine. this performance was so lit and the dance was on point , as expected from jang hyunseung and for those who are butt hurted he won , don't be immature , this is about enjoying the performance not about who wins Hyunseung is my bias and i don't give two shits if he won or not , he suffered too much lately from annoying immature people and i'm just too happy that he's back ! let's keep rooting for our Hyunseung and make sure he's enjoying his life ^^ p.s : the performance may not have been powerful , i can understand some people are disappointed because we are used to " powerful Hyunseung" , but the theme was " love " so it's kind of suitable to have a lit performance ^^ spread love people

Throwing this out there, in all honesty the ones with control and power and precision are Hyunseung, Hoya and Hyoyeon. U-Kwon and Ten may have made their moves very exciting and interesting, just as Momo and Chungha made their moves very differentiated amongst the others, but those original senior idols have precision and control. Note how Stephanie and Hyunseung have equal solo parts (Hyunseung in the first verse and the third verse, while Stephanie came in for the second and last verse) while both of them came together nicely in every chorus part. Hyunseung may not have flashy moves like Hoya, but like Hyoyeon his skill is on precision: every move counts and flows so nicely and in a way that doesn't look too forced (excessive power) and is graceful yet on point. His skill set is something we had seen before, and their chemistry is on fire, but their concept (Meeting in a club and having that sexual tension) fits in perfectly with the dance. Nice comeback, Hyunseung.

I would've thought that Stephanie was a contestant on the show and Hyunseung was part of her "crew". She moved really beautifully and gracefully but Hyunseung kinda blended into the background...(The fact that he wore an all black outfit with a black background behind him dose'nt help)There was no chemistry though and I couldn't see Hyunseung's expressions at all. Before anyone decides to bash me, I want to say that I speak with some experience and I’m not trying to be biased towards anybody. I can tell that Stephanie’s strong suit is Ballet, but that doesn’t mean that she “sucks” at hip-hop. I practiced and took ballet for 11 years and after I stopped I started to take hip hop classes. Let me tell you, it was not easy to switch between those two. In ballet, you’re taught to keep all of your movements sharp and smooth while looking elegant. You’re arms are always in different positions and usually correspond with the position of the legs. And to top it off, a ballerina is taught every position and move(jeté, pirouette, arabesque, etc.). With hip hop, there’s not a lot of labels to the moves used and there’s usually more freestyle. I respect Stephanie’s performance and applaud her for dancing outside of her strong suit. I watched both Stephanie and Ten’s performances and I liked both of them. I admit, I felt more chemistry with Ten’s dance, but I mostly watch these videos because of the dancers and the brilliance of each choreography. Much love to all of our amazing dancers. ❤️
