We don’t get enough musicians being as transparent as you and I can’t tell you how much myself and others appreciate it! Keep it up my man

Yas yas yas, you're doing it right, Guillaume! I'd say you nailed that tone pretty damn good! I've got a question: Could you and Kris maybe make a video on Fender amps in general? There are so many different names, nick names, models and series that it's really hard to get a big picture. black face, silver face, tweed, deluxe, blues something. I always here those names and I don't have any clue what it means, what era it's associated with or how it sounds. I'd love to see a comparison like "these are the X basic models and this is how they sound..."

Chasing SRV tone is like going towards Mordor: it's hot, discomforting and you can bet someone will get so mad he will try to tear out your fingers.

I love this album so hearing your lively passionate playing of this song intrigues me as a guitarist and SRV fan since you get an alluring fierceness to your melodic playing. Cheers!

Indeed no one plays like SRV did. But you did sound pretty good mate. I think the guitar, pedals & amp sound were pretty close, I’d settle for that. You reckon I could get a similar sound with a klon knock-off (gain low) used as a boost pedal, into a tubescreamer knock-off, into my amp?

Hi Guillaume. Have you heard the winning song of the Eurovision song contest? "Zitti e buoni" ? It have a killer bass solo for a hit the tone episode. But if you are too afraid of the bass guitar, maybe Julia can take over the series jajaja. Keep rocking 🤘🤘🤘

I've been trying to replicate this tone on a line 6 helix, got plenty of bottom end but the tone lacks punch and I cant seem to get it sounding clean enough without killing the distortion. The record sounds both clean and distorted at the same time I cant put my finger on it. I'll try lowering my pickups and see what that does. Guitar currently has 11's on it but I think ill try 12's as well.

Dude this is not A Hot Rod Deluxe Tweed Edition, this is Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue, HRD has a additional gain stage in the drive channel (more drive button), and the inscriptions are ont he other sire of the knobs. It's a different amp with a different speaker, Emminence in the newest version. There was a Hot Rod Deluxe III Special run with Tweed enclosure but it was just a different look with a Celestion G12P-80 speaker, and it had a "Fender - Deluxe" plate in the front, over the loudspeaker.
