Drive gear should always be under the counterweight to prevent wear and damage. The bardge needs to be anchored to the sea floor so not to add stress to the excavator arm moving horizontally. Also tie down the excavator to the barge so she doesn’t tip.

Wow! nice video. from the looks of what it is dredging, i am thinking it should be a "superfund cleanup site". lol

So where else might this unit see some service? Does it always dig into water? Why not just mount that arm to a big ship?

There are videos of it with a standard boom and stick somewhere if you search for "Ashleigh Contracts" you may find it.

how many yards does the bucket hold and how long does it take to fill the barge
@AwesomeEarthmovers8 жыл бұрын
It takes 2 hours to fill the barge. I'm not sure of bucket capacity but I would guess it's only about 3 cubic yards because it's a long reach.

@@AwesomeEarthmovers Guys, could you advise what is the maximum dredging depth for this installation?
@SuperMrcat7 жыл бұрын
They have no ideas what they are doing, firstly they have the track gear around the wrong way so its working over its final drives the whole time and they don't even have it secured to the deck of the barge by the looks of it.
