Watching this guy load is like waiting for paint you dry. SLOW SLOW SLOW. Keep your finals behind you for weight. Park two trucks side by side. If you have the space , which he does. Saves time waiting for the next truck to back up to you. Lift up on the main while curling bucket.

Yeah, the Hitachi's are great machines. There was an older Hitachi ZX 650 LC working on the same project, but a in different quarry, digging through blasted rock also. Impressive as well.

Awesome footage awesome I know my comments are years late, but this is awesome footage of blasted rock or stone being loaded and handled by the excavator. was this material crushed and made into gravel or road base material?

That material wasn't crushed and was placed as you see it in areas of earthworks fill for the road.
