When I was deep into playing SoT I would get accused of hacking all the time! I'm on Xbox lol the good old days. Pubes, clammy, fox and myself running servers killing everything and holding 3 cycles of events of loot on our boat plus robbed loot. The good old days

Teleporting ship hack: hilariously that was briefly a thing. Far as I know that lasted about 3 weeks in 2020 and was never opened again. Internal vulnerabilities aren't super common in SoT anymore. Externals are the wild west though, ESP, aim assist, gun scripts, one of the crews you were fighting in that video were pretty sus tbh.

Can you help me? I really don't understand what you are talking about when you talk about servers. To me, a server is the internet provider I am using to get on to the internet and I pay a monthly fee for it.

A game server. If you are playing SoT, you are in a server with maximum 5 other ships. If you quit and join a new session, thats a new server. Server hopping means joining games and quitting until you find a server with good stuff like FoF, FotD, Reaper 5 etc.....

Server hopping for streamers should be bannable like streamsniping. Gives streamers an unfair advantage against the average player.

I used to agree, but think of it this way...you as a sailor need to always be on guard. These guys that set up a ship for streamers could have just cut out the middle man and been after you the whole time themself. Nothing would have changed in that scenario. You only think something became unfair because you recognize that a streamer is very likely more skilled than you are. But what if you don't know they are a streamer? But they still win the match? What if they are not a streamer but they win the match? I just don't see why this is unfair to anyone.
