This is definitely one of the most nervewacking stages in all of the series... which is what makes it fun imo because stages tend to be too easy. MMX6 for that sole reason is one of my favorites. Most bosses are pushovers (except Mijinion and Gate) but stages are a challenge.

@@SeithrEsm I do agree that after playing the other X games so many times most of the stages are easy now and even after beating X6 a dozen times there are still multiple parts in that game that is still difficult, but for me it's for the wrong reasons. Some parts in X6 feel to brutal by just a minor mistake, I'm not a fan of that but still I do somewhat enjoy it now because I've gotten so much better at it after almost twenty years of playing it.

X6 is the shittest game in the x series.. It's a shame bcuz I felt the game need some fine tuning.. It just felt like they didn't test the game before launching.. So many bugs and errors in it and the entire game is difficult..

It's actually really forgiving compared to some stuff, even spikes on the press don't hurt you if you touch them from the side in one part, the normal instakill spikes are far deadlier Funny comic though

@@silvore64 Honestly, I can see why, if this level is anything, it's definitely incredibly unfriendly for anyone new to the game. Having a nigh-constant instantkill crusher take up half of the screen is a bit overkill

It can suck, yeah. But you can abuse it to your advantage, too. There are some parts where you can stand on spikes no problem.

Metal Shark Player's Stage is the undisputed Number 1 in my "Worst Megaman Stages ever made" list. It's the most unfun part of any Megaman game ever and honestly, it's mere presence is what keeps me from coming back to X6 most of the time (or at least from getting the full shadow armor.) Just knowing that I have to play through it TWICE to get his weapon in order to get the capsule in Blaze Heatnix's Stage and AGAIN to get the armor piece is painful.

Tip - Speedster + Hyper Dash + Shock Buffer. On first segment use Ride Armor and block ceiling with it and go for a walk. Second one take slowly and rush at the end. Not a hard stage when you realize that you can use upgrades.
