Very cool, I am a paraplegic here in the state of Maine. I could use one of those for my pick up when I am deer hunting if I get a deer or also to put heavy things in the back of my truck as well. I will have to look for one. Thank you for the video. Maine North Woods Hunter (KZbin).

Kewl. For the heavy loads you can put a "snatch-block" hook on the cable and hook the main hook onto the end of your boom and have a block-and-tackle effect. You won't have to work as hard when you crank. Harbor Freight and Northern Tool both stock "snatch pulley hooks" for thar purpose. I enjoyed your video. Thanks

Hi Rocket It,s mostly 1/8 inche square tubing , pretty strong for my need. Dont plan to lift 1 ton with it, as long it lift a generator or snowblower it,s good enough for me.As for the plate on bottom of leg ,i slide that leg from the top so cant put a larger plate there there is always a piece of wood laying around somewhere🙂 Thank,s for your comment

Its funny , I had seen a few other types and I thought of almost this exact design before seeing yours, the outrigger gives it much better solidity. I am going to put a steel pad on mine though for use on driveways , so you don't dig a piece out
