Hello Guys,
In this video, I have shared my second experience of hitchhiking in China from Beijing to Shijiazhuang
It took me almost 10 hours to complete this journey of 250Km. Hitchhiking in China is a little bit different than in other countries. The people of China are really amazing & helpful. In the end, I couldn't nake it to the city & I had to camp on the Road

At the station you see ‘开水处’ means you can pick up the water in that place. Chinese people like to drink boiling water of course, when the temperature drops. People generally don't drink tap water directly. In the evening, the girl couldn't understand what you said. She meant: I am not very familiar with the geography here. After she saw your mobile phone, she said that navigation can go. Your communication seems to be in trouble, haha. You ask the chef at the restaurant. The chef reads the '面条汤' displayed on your mobile phone. It means soup, which is a soup cooked with noodles. That means only a bowl of soup without noodles, so the chef is a bit confused, but she still understood the meaning of eating, so she made a bowl of noodles. Translation software sometimes doesn't perfectly express what you want. Next time you can say ‘ a bowl of noodles with soup’ to your phone。

Akshit Janjua Chinese is the easiest language. It seems intimidating at first. But once you have mastered close to 1000 characters. You’re done. Since words are made up of characters which have meanings. They automatically make sense to you. On the contrary, how much vocabulary do you have to learn in English? Also Chinese do not have past and present tense etc. Words do not have plural forms. You don’t need to change the order of words to form a question. That means extremely simple grammar.

In Chaina :Beijing to Shanghai almost 1200 to 1300 kms....you can cover that distance in 13 hours by road... In India: Delhi to Mumbai almost 1300 to 1400 kms....you can cover that distance in 28 hours by road....... THAT'S CALL DEVELOPMENT

@@hong3170 fyi, Indians are comfortable to sell land at the current Market Price which is usually 3 to 5 times higher than the official Government Registered Price😎 I guess that land is not a valuable commodity in China as the sellers don't have much bargaining power😎

@@oshoosho8466in China the land is belonging to nation or village. People lease the land for agriculture purpose. The land for the houses is private ownership. There is no land market in China but people transfer titles with a price. When the public projects such as road or railway need land, the local government is responsible to compensate the people. If they need to relocate the house they will provide another peice of the land for free. The house itself will be compensated according to the value. Normally they only pay the replacement value. If the farmer lost all the land and there is no available land in this village, they will give jobs to the young and pensions for the older people. I just read one high speed railway project. They provide minimum 200 square meters for each family of 2 and 100 square meters for each additional family members, at half the market price. Normally this will be 2-3 apartments in the city. I followed the India high speed railway project. The problem in india is not the compensation land price. The farmers could not get the new land with this money because availability is not always there. They cannot easily move to another village So some of them spent the money and become poor. So normally they against the relocation. In China when they built the big project such as three Gorges dam, they relocated more than one million people. Some of them moved to another province. The Chinese governments already built all the houses and allocated land to those families when they moved to new regions. For those prefer to move to nearby cities they got apartments and local jobs. So if Indians think Chinese government can just grab the land and kick the farmers out, it is totally wrong. Chinese history is full of farmer uprising. The current government and ruling party know exactly the problem. China developed repidly. There are more than 100 millions people relocated for urban development and other public and private projects. You cannot survive if you don't take care of the people. They are not perfect and sometimes people are not satisfied. But overall they are happy to see the country developed. They know they need to sacrifice personal benefits for national need. Yes it is easier in China than in India to do the projects but the reasons are not just that simple.
