It would be cool to do a "CabFred" where everyone have to catch a cab and your at the mercy of the cab driver's skills. The painful part is cabs have to deal with traffic and red lights. 3 hour stream 🤣

Not necessarily: in the Runfred you can see them kicking the Mule to make them go faster. When you're in a cabby you can interact with the driver and actually tell him to hurry. I don't think you can actually get a cab in a race though, so this would have to be a gentleman's agreement in freeroam^^

Back when Rooster Teeth still did regular KZbin gaming videos, they did a point to point race with cabs. The drivers would get confused, panicked, abandon the car or occasionally kick them out of the cab.

On Austrian TV there is/was a program that showed a tram riding through Vienna.. The camera was mounted so it looked outside the Wind screen. I loved wtaching that. Run Fred has a similar allure. Especially when you ride the train.

Imagine if each year you had a new fred, think 2024fred or 2025fred. Itd keep things newsworthy as new lines and strategies would show up through the year. On the new year, you could put tons of points around the map and use an RNG to determine which points end up in the 202Xfred, create the race and run it first thing each year.
