not "Bergdorf". "Berghof" was the name of Hitler's house on the Obersalzberg near Berchtesgaden. The Berghof was also the official second seat of government. The official name of the Eagles Nest is Kehlsteinhaus

I been there! I lived right down the street across the Danube from Hitlers birthplace. It was 1984 I was 18 full of piss n vinegar. Texas kid amongst the Austrians what a time I had lol. Ya know what I drove?? I shit u not we drove an 81 Chevrolet GOOD TIMES VAN!! Yep the Dean of the college was a friend of my parents a d we cruised the AUTOBAHN in that sukR. I drove it to SALZBURG, heck I even drove it to USSR, POLAND, YUGOSLAVIA, HUNGARY, ITALY, TURKEY. Even got in a lil trouble in Poland. I was researching Hitler , ur vid popped up. 👍👋From Texas.
