If someone is sick, there could be demons in their blood, or they have a bacteria infection. Both arrive at the same conclusion: that someone is sick, and one is a bullshit statement. Also, one is an ideal, the other a justification, but that's a whole nother thing.

I remember being slightly drunk at a friend's birthday party, and her dog was being absolutely adorable. Among other things, I said something like I always love people who love dogs! My friend is a history scholar, specialising among other things in the history of France and Germany over the two World Wars. She was quick to remind me Hitler was crazy about dogs. 😶 So...I guess I like two things about Hitler now. He loved dogs. And he wasn’t a nepotist.

One crazy part they missed is that Willie Hitler’s mother was actually Irish. His dad met her while he was working in a laundry in Dublin which had a swastika as its logo (it was a symbol for luck back then). Now, I’m not saying Hitler copied his main ideological symbol from an Irish laundry his brother used to work in buuuuuuttt...

They likely investigated him, found nothing saying that he was a double agent/spy, probably also made sure he didn't get high up or get any info that was useful, or simply made it impossible for him to contact Germans.

Alexander Stuart-Houston confirmed in 2002 that there was never a formal pact, but just a long discussion. They felt it would be unfair and a horrible curse to have to shoulder the family history, and they could never do that to their own children, who they knew they would love. So, no more bloodline. Good choice.
