Until they failed. He used them to achieve his dreams but when they failed he threw a blind eye on them. I think it was Speer who said this story of one time he was with Hitler on train and they were stopped somewhere. The train on the other rail came and it had wounded soldiers returning from eastern front. Hitler turned his head away in disgust and put down the blind so he and they could not see each other. To him they were failures. This hurt soldiers very much.

@@lynne8755 The problem is that most people have no idea that there were six years of peace before the war and that what the Germans did during those years, the innovations, the scientific advances, the social and financial reforms, job creation, etc... Is what made Germany so special and her people so happy. War destroyed everything, Hitler tried everything to avoid it, no one would listened, communism was given half of Eastern Europe and a scary and dangerous cold war lasted 50 years. Anyone who thinks that the Germans wanted and started war didn't do any research about WW2 and simply repeats the same thing over and over, it saves them from having to think.

The right guy is an SS officer. At this specific time SS had rather a police and security role. The person in the middle wears a Wehrmacht military uniform and the left person a political party uniform I suppose. But I'm not quite sure with the white one.
