HITMAN 2 Sniper Assassin - Himmelstein - "Killer Shot" Challenge

After a lot of trial and error I finally did the challenge today on 18 Sep. 2024. Since no one actually explains what has to happen for the two of them to meet up on the balcony under the speaker, here is my explanation: **For the Challenge to work, Dorian Lang needs to be the one to take the bride and grooms photo, so he can later show it to Guillaume Maison when they meet up in the art gallery.** 1. Start the Level. 2. Shoot the photographers floodlight 3. Shoot the flagpole. 4. Wait until Dorian Lang and Doris Lee meet in the labyrinth. The bride and groom should be coming out of the mansion a few seconds from now. Shot in front of them to delay them ? over both their heads. 5. Observe. Dorian Lang and the couple should meet up and Dorian Lang takes the wedding photo on his phone. Diana comments on it. 6. **You did it.** Now simply wait for Dorian Lang and Guillaume Maison to meet in the art gallery and go to the balcony. Then shoot the speaker above them. **Explanation:** So, you enter the level and shoot the **Photographers Light** to create the opportunity for Dorian Lang to take the wedding photo instead of the photographer. You also shoot the flagpost to lure Dorian Lang to the labyrinth, so he so is near the photoshot when the bride and groom show up. Timing is everything here. In Hitman3 WoA the timing is off. Bride and groom arrive way to early for the photoshoot so they already left, when Dorian Lang gets there. The only thing you have to do to make this work is delay the bride and groom a bit so all three meet up at for the wedding photo at the same time. One or two shots in their vicinity is all you need to do. It slows them down by enough so Dorian Lang finds his way out of the labyrinth in time to meet up with them. Again, I have no idea what IOI was thinking when they made this. Either they expected players to do Last Yardbird umpteen times until they figured out all the different behaviors or to just check someone else's solution. Either option makes for unsatisfying game play.

And it’s very frustrating that you can’t speed up the waiting process. Even if you somehow figured it out, you have to wait 11 minutes for even the OPPROTUNITY… and if you miss then guess what that’s another 11

This does not work (anymore)? I shoot the flag and the light directly at tha start of the mission and thenm I just wait without touching anything at all (God I hate this mission so much!). They meet, they shake hands, they talk - then one leaves through the building and all three meet underneath the big lamp thingy...
