It does, just not the explosion. If you get the range just right you can catch them on fire without hitting them with the explosion and it counts as an accident.

For number 9 you can also get the White Ruby Rude 300 from the elusive target arcade and it is just a reskin of the 300 Ghost. Most of the targets for it are pretty easy and only one set of 3 is needed

This is so true that the Molotow-Cocktail is the best item in the Game someone found a glitch that when you shoot it with a Trankelisor it will not explode but everyone who is near it will burn and you can take the Molotow-Cocktail back bacause it is to destroit i used this method on the new elusive target the chamelion and its just great btw nice viedeo

When I first tried to SA/SO Paris, it was a nightmare. I couldn't get to the remote for the fireworks, until I remembered that I had the tranquilizer. I restarted with the tranquilizer instead of a Silverballer, and it worked! The guard and technician are knocked out cold and I have the remote for the taking! The tranquilizer is a true game changer.

I just throw a coin and run. Just make them look away in any way, grab the remote, and get out. You do have to keep the pathing of some guards in mind, but if you're fast they're not there yet.

Great list, only thing I would add is the seditive snail mine thing from the Sloth dlc. Never see anyone talk about it but it can knock out multiple people at once and is completly legal to carry/use. I find it especially useful during The Entertainer to quickly get the guestlist from the woman

@@wildgold completely agree! I bought it and played through most of it but a few of the escalations are so horrible to play that I haven’t bothered to complete them. The snail is one of the few good things to come from that DLC and in several situations it’s by far the best way to deal with guards or enforcers without getting spotted using the tranq on them.

​@@oTekkuh yeah the gum is insanely useful. When people pick it up and eat it they'll fall asleep, dropping any invitations they have allowing you to get into restricted areas. And it counts as an accident knockout so won't affect SA or cause guards to get suspicious.

I know im kinda late to the party here, but since you mentioned the poison vials, the Black Almond Dagger is also a honorable mention, as it is a more nieche poison vial stored inside a knife, you cant take it through frisks and poisoning something can still be illegal even tho you have a waiter desguise, because you are holding a knife... But if you are just poisoning a drink that is unattended, you get a free extra deadly melee/throw or something you can just throw on the ground as a distraction while still carrying a dose of lethal poison (unlocked by reaching mastery lvl 15 on haven island)

I’ve been playing Hitman since 2017 and bought all 3 games separately and yet to this day I keep discovering methods and shortcuts I didn’t even know were there. I didn’t know you could activate the emetic gas device from the briefcase without compromising yourself, and at 10:50, I didn’t know you can climb on the side of that house in Mumbai.

The seiker 1 carried me through the freelancer mode, for regular missions just shoot the target, drown hide body. For showdown, find target, shoot target, drown and hide the body. It was foolproof

What do you guys think about "custom 5mm"? it helped me a lot the first time. It had only 5 bullets but enough to kill targets. Besides it won't be found in a body check.

The emetic dart gun is so goddamn overpowered. I was using emetic grenades, which already takes my 2 slots, to get Silent Assassin Sniper Assassin Suit Only on Santa Fortuna. That would've made it so much easier.

Solid list, I think the recent patch in July nerfed the lethal and emetic syringes. I used to be able to just poke NPCs whenever in VR , even when being looked at by other NPCs and after this patch I get spotted all the time. Bummer , oh well lol

Something else , the Remote taser also ignites oil spills which can be very usefull because often you can't shoot them without being spotted also i think they can set of propane tanks that have already been shot once but that might be wrong i cant remember

I can see the DAK x2 being less practical in some situations, especially on maps with a lot of guns mixed in with the security teams like on Paris, Wittelton Creek, and Dubi where there are a variety of weapons and you don’t always end up getting what you wanted.

2:06 IMO, The fastest way to get a suppressed sniper rifle is to play Isle of Sgáil get mastery level 10, for the Seiger 300 Tactical, or snipe Agent Tremaine from the Radio Tower to get the Jager 7 Covert

This game gives you way too many options sometimes. Any level can be beaten in a relatively timely and efficient manner without any starting gear. It's like playing Rock Paper Scissors against someone whose options are limited to paper and rock, and your options are rock, paper, scissors, gun, gun, gun, gun, gun, bomb, and gun. I love it.

I've only played up to Hitman 2 (2018) so for me anyways, minus silverballers, this is based on my experience getting silent assassin on master and of course kill them all challenges where my goal is not to get hit. 10 - tac-4 AR auto stealth 09 - tac-smg covert - the only thing the dak suppressed is better at is it's concealable 08 - tuatara sniper rifle or ghost - one is armor piercing, one slightly corrects your aim 07 - the dart guns - they make the game too easy I find 06 - black almond knife - the poison is a bonus in it you'll thank yourself for bringing 05 - remote EMP charge - it shocks people, blows up propane tanks, takes out surveillance recordings and most computers 04 - propane tanks - the most over powered item in the game, even if you shoot them, you still get SA. 03 - lethal syringes - getting silent assassin with syringes is a breeze 02 - shurikens - you can take out a small group of guards fast 01 - coins - anyone surprised I don't like the krugermeier at all, there's maybe ONE silent assassin run I did where it was invaluable but it's not worth the risk. Especially how forgiving you can be with the silverballer shooting from a far to the point it's a borderline sniper rifle and the higher damage. the fiber wire is not completely silent on master, try taking out for example sean rose when he is admiring the clock, you'll almost certainly get spotted by the noise in the other rooms. the electrifying cellphone made the game too easy, the micro taser and other tasers are great but you don't get any attention from the EMP I mentioned. However an honorable mention would be the sawn off shotgun, the only reason it doesn't make the list is the noise. Or the crowbar. my usual loadout is really boring, silverballers, a lockpick and some coins. I've done both games without firing a shot on master, suit only, silent assassin and without knocking a single target out or making anyone sick.

My biggest pet peeve with the scienced snipers especially with the sub sonic is when you kill you target close to someone the guards instantly know where you are at. It's a pain in the ass where you have a challenge snipe multiple targets in spot like in Colorado.

do not use the regular or guru emetic grenade, the ambrose version is so much better than the rest since it can't knock out your targets it doesn't lock in on their head, also it's legal to carry around and goes through frisks

Surprised you don't mention the goldbrick proximity mine; doesn't take up a pistol slot like the tranquiliser, isn't illegal so you can hold it, throw it, drop it, and take it through frisks, and can also sleep NPCs through walls in the right circumstances. All around strong item.

It does, in fact, deal more damage to vehicles (takes 2 shots from Ghost to explode, and 4 from Leviathan). Speaking of human targets though, both rifles will punch your ticket for good with just 1 shot to the body at any range. Oh, and keep in mind - Leviathan's got body-piercing bullets, these can screw you over sometimes. If there is a solid object behind your target, it'll create a bullet distraction and lead nosy NPCs to the corpse.

for freelancer, the dax dt1 is easily the best weapon in the game, being obtainable on your first map and essentially giving you a free silenced pistol and a free crowbar. any variant of that gun is top tier in my eyes, 10/10 list

A lot of the weapons, tools and gadgets in the World of Assassination trilogy are duplicates, you tend to unlock the same thing over and over and over again just with a different name. Other than that, it's pretty much the same usage for each item to use in the game.

Unlocked by default. 7: Tranquilizer. Sedates on impact, but bodies found keeps SA status. Unlocked by either finishing 3 escalations on H2 maps, or mastery 5 on Mendoza. 6: Kreugermier 2-2: Subsonic silenced pistol, good for distractions and destroying cameras but has weaker accuracy and stopping power. Unlocked by reaching 20 on Bangkok, or 10 on Mendoza for gold and silver respectively. 5: Silverballer. Good gun. Best pistol. idk what else to say here. Use it. There’s so many different unlocks here. Easiest is level 2 in Mumbai. 4: Sieker 1. Emetic dart gun. Any shot that lands from this makes the subject sick and use the restroom or trash can. Unlocked by level 10 on Haven Island. 3: Lethal syringe. A quick silent attack that instantly kills. Easiest unlock is level 2 on Sapienza. 2: Remote emetic gas device on a suitcase. Suitcase easiest unlock is in Dubai at 7. The stink bomb is unlocked at level 5 in Haven Island. Honorable mentions: lethal vial and pills. Vial is unlocked by 10 in Berlin, pills at 5 SA/SO. ICA micro taser. Level 2 in Berlin. Emetic [gas] grenade. Gas grenade 17 in Haven Island. Regular grenade from doing 12 H2 escalations. ICA crowbar from level 18 in Whittleton Creek. 1: Molotov Cocktail. Big explosive weapon with a ton of versatility and can be an accident if you use it properly. Unlocked by reaching 20 on Ambrose Island.
