This is really fascinating! I'm impressed that they got the game running natively on mobile hardware, but considering the sheer graphical cost of making it happen, I'm not so sure if it should've been done.

Yes, and VR games have looked good for some time now. Just look at the original VR mode in WOA. The problem with it was that it didn't take advantage of anything with VR, no true interaction with objects, weapons or anything like that. This was their chance to fix it, but instead it was made into a Quest 3 exclusive, witch restricted it so much that it looks like a mobile game, and they didn't even fix any of the core problems of the H3 VR. What a shame...

One of the main stealth mechanics is sneaking in bushes, u simply can’t do it because of the ps1 bushes that just plague ur screen. Overall the style isn’t bad but they need to fix some of the fog issues and more

The cell shading look fits perfectly. I don't know why everybody is complaining about the graphics they look pretty good. The game looks better than i fought. Can't wait for the updates every now and then.

it was meant to improve performance, while still attempting to be stylish. the art style is fine, its all the other unrefined stuff left over from previous VR versions thats making this a tough sell.

lmao this is new-IOI we're talking about. the game's been always online since 2016, and they still never bothered to even look into properly fixing that. i understand game dev is hard, and some things may not be very feasible or easy to implement in the current engine, but I know what you shouldn't do is re-release what was already a half baked version of a vr mode with a new coat of paint, and the same basic issues. they're not looking to fix anything, since that won't earn them any new sales. they'll just outsource projects to get the bare minimum require to tap into some other niche audience, like the quest vr-

I disagree. The art style is fine, it could look really good actually. The real problem is the mountain of poor decisions and performance issues that make it look bad. egregious pop-in, strange lighting, and general VR jankiness built into it make it look worse than it should.

​@@necromech_Hitman, and pretty much all games made for PS3/PS4 generations all show pop-in - it's a basic way to manage level of detail in games. The faster hardware you have, you just need to push pop-in father away. Well, this is running on a mobile chip - you bring pop-in closer and make people used to modern PCs very mad. But why should PC people be mad when they already have a much better looking VR version from years ago. All this drama makes no sense, the game looks perfectly fine for mobile VR - for people without a PC. aside some egregious jagged shadow borders that can be fixed in an update...

Trash, broken, unfinished game, trash controls, super insulting to put flat screen controls in VR, wheres the immersion, and interactions? I hope this game fails so you know that this is super disrespectful to the quest 3 owners and the VR community. We really deserve better then this.
