@@trkortez yeah, they leave it up to the player to find out through reading the newspaper articles after missions, a mission or two after assassinating her husband and father you can find an article in the paper covering her move to a big city and spending her newly obtained inheritance. She spends all her time partying and sleeping around. She had everything to gain from 47’s work. And the connections to reach the agency due to already being wealthy and powerful as the daughter of a mob boss. But she wanted it all. not just what the family would allow her.

I really didn’t like this level, because on my first full playthrough I poisoned the cake and just killed the father on the way to the family grave. So I got silent assasin, and no lore what so ever, I didn’t even got to explore the building, the run took like 3 minutes. Really boring

Funny part is if you place RU-AP mine at place where you stand when marrying them and activate mine right before you start ceremony - agent 47 will start to fall down on ground with standard death animation, but he will still perform ceremony no matter he is dieing (he will keep talking like nothing happened).

Lemme help you a year late: The postman was a Franchise member. He denied accepting a tip, (strange for a man working that job), as well as handed 47 a package stating: Code Red. This likely means that the man killed the original courier, who only managed to write that down before dying, meaning the intel was intercepted.

What makes this franchise interesting is just the many ways you can use to finish the job. In this episode i prefer just to poison the cake and then push the father into the grave outside. I use to finish this level in 5 minutes or less

How I like to do this mission: -knock out guest in boat house (red shirt) and take his clothes -steal wedding invitation from passed out guest -Go into mansion, enter guest bathroom, climb out window, wait for Pappy Leblanc to walk out to family plot -Knock out guard, take his clothes, hide him in ice chest -Go back into bathroom, go to kitchen, poison cake, hide Hank Leitch “Buddy” Muldoon in top load freezer -Go back to bathroom, pick lock on door, go upstairs, pick lock on study door, hide in closet and wait for Pappy Leblanc -Kill Pappy Leblanc, in his chair via garrote, steal elephant gun -Go downstairs, wait for guard to turn back, pick lock on door leading to front yard -Go back to boat house, hide Elephant Gun in ICA box behind boat house, change back into suit, then leave.

Man I remember as a kid I felt so bad for the bride afterwards, both her fiancé & her father were killed on the same day which is her wedding day. But now that I'm older & more pessimistic, it's clear that the bride herself is the client, she had her fiancé & father killed, not sure why exactly she did it but I'm assuming it was for money & maybe some sort of revenge. Further proof that she ordered the hit is that she can't be killed or the contract is canceled. Also I'm not sure why 47 killed the postman in the beginning. Was he a Franchise member or informant, or was it a no witnesses thing?

The postman was a franchise agent being there to recon and check if 47 was there however the letter was marked so 47 knew and killed him. For the bride i think it is more for revenge as the previous boat mission was definitely organized by her to kill the captain and to retrieve sensitive photos of her and the captain. Probably she was raped and taken photos and her father did nothing.

Two theories from me. 1. Guy was a witness and a loose end. Anybody asking about a bald dude in a black suit and red tie would be able to get a description from him. Message said Code Red and the ICA had enemies everywhere, so 47 took no chances. 2. Guy worked for the bad guys and was trying to spy. 47 got messages before and the messenger just slipped the envelope under the door and left without making direct contact. This guy knocked to confirm.

Ok so quickest way to do this... take drunk clothes and invite... Wait for priest and inject with knockout and take his clothes.... Go to grave and wait for old boy and push him in.... Run back and inject cake with poison.... Run back to drunk and get suit. Go to southern most exit and wait to press escape. While you wait groom will eat cake and die. When notification of his death pops up Press E for immediate escape and voila. 6mins. WR

The way I did it, I planted a bomb inside a gift box. Then I set it next to the piano. After the couple gets married, they roam around in that room, the groom fiddles with the piano, the girl walks away, and boom, detonate that shit. Took out like seven innocent bystanders, but hey, nobody knew it was me. To take out the bride's father, I snuck up stairs and silverballered him without a sound. That was it.

The CIA had influence over everyone, even the messenger. He could have been spying on/trying to find out 47's location. And messengers/delivery people have the right to look what's inside a package the messenger could have read everything about the operation. And since ICA wasn't a legal organization when the game's story was played then the entire agency could have been compromised.

Simplest way to do this mission without changing suit is by taking the invitation card of the drunk guest then entering the venue going to the kitchen and poisoning the cake. Afterwards, run out of the window take a left keep running ( make sure the hat bodyguard doesn’t see you ) then with a silenced silver baller shoot the father while he’s on his way to the grave while sneaking !

Back in the day I found a way to finish this mission in just about 4 mins and submitted it to a game Walkthrough site, I dug it up and this is the walkthrough, maybe give it a try! "I don’t know if this will work every time, but when I tried it the targets’ routine timing is always the same (when I restart mission). This mission can be [finished] in about four minutes, and you won't need a disguise. Just grab that drunk guy’s party invitation at the beginning, run towards and into the main house, pull out your map and wait till the kitchen area is clear, then enter and poison the cake. Then quickly run out of the house to the backyard and run to the Guard Quarters (by the graveyard). Right as you get on the wooden walkway you should see a bucket of chicken sitting there, which Pappy will pick up later. Place a bomb in the bucket and find a place to hang out until Pappy walks out of the house and picks up the bucket. [When he does], detonate the mine and say goodbye to Pappy. All you have to do now is run back to where you started. The Groom should have eaten the cake by then; if not, just wait next to the boat for the cut-scene showing [him dying]. Then hit X and escape. 1 body found, but still got a Silent Assassin rating, 0 Notoriety.""
