ive played this mission for like 6 hours yesterday and let me tell u its not random but very wierd. The Towers have their own "Mindset" so to speak. What i mean by that is that if you shoot the towers they will always know who u are. No matter what disguise you put on. Once the Towers shoot you every guard surrounding it (i still dont know the radius) will shoot u too and ur disguise will be thorwn off. The Guards however behave like all the other guards in the game

easiest way to do it is: make sure you have the sniper rifle from the previous mission(s). right @ the start, kill Pablo, through the window on the 2nd floor; using the sniper. drop it. grab one of the yellow colored disguises (the one with the stripes on the shoulders) or you cant get passed the guards near the drug lab. one can easily be found in one of the rooms on the 2nd floor, kill one of the isolated guards. bomb the base, exit via the plane in the hanger. simple.

Killing Pablo is not a problem, but after that it becomes almost impossible because they start shooting at you from the towers and you cannot hide in those wide open spaces except for in a tent and then firing from a tent you can kill some of the soldiers for a while, but you can't take down most of the guards standing in guard towers from there because they are too far away - also, near the drug lab after you have taken down all the 7 guards with the sniper rifle and you head towards your objectives, you will be immediately recognized and they're shooting at you again from the towers... frustrating mission to say the least - no saving is possible so if you die you have to run again those huge distances from the start of the mission...

+George Spelaeus The key is to use only the knife like here in the video. When you use the silenced pistol and give someone a headshot, the guard will sometimes scream before he's dead (i know, fuck logic)and that can cause an alert. If an alert was caused then every other guard will shoot you even if they haven't seen or heard anything. I had big problems with this mission myself but thanks to this vid I realized that you must not cause an alert. Use the silenced pistol only if a guard is alone or if there aren´t any guards close to you.

I did everything after who knows how many attempts, and died trying to climb a tower ladder at the end of the mission. Ragequit.

This is one of the easiest missions in the game. make sure you bring the sniper rifle with from the jungle. When you go through the tunnel drop your rifle and head towards Pablo`s house and activate him. and then head out of the camp and at the gate there`s a tower climb up and creep around and take all of the ammunition on the floor and head back to where you dropped the rifle. hide behind the tree`s to the left of the entrance tunnel and scope into the camp and you will see the guards minding the plane take out the guards but be careful of the patrols make sure to pick the right tree you`ll get it with a little practise. Then go to the left of the tunnel and be careful which tree you take but again it take a little careful planning you`ll see Pablo ranting around the house take him out and drop the rifle and head back to the camp go into the house and kill the guard outside his door and go in and take the bomb and head for the under ground tunnel and place the bomb go outside and detonate and head for the plane and off you go. just be careful and everything should go smoothly.

Hello. First of all, thank you for this video. I watched it several times and, after almost a year, I could finally complete this challenging mission. Even though I didn't do exactly what you did on the video. Since I do better with the wire, I killed most of the guards with it (I've never done well with the knife) and only one or two with the gun (actually one of them killed me, but fortunately I could take revenge). As for Pablo, he killed me once, but I could kill him with the silenced Beretta and without letting the surviving guards in the mansion noticing that (and disguising with the guard's clothes I found in the bathroom). Then I did as shown on the video. Anyway, thank you for uploading it and I can see you're very skilled at playing this. And I got a question: who else has beaten this mission by using the wire?

Just before I got here to see this walk-trough I tried to kill the Drug Lord with the Suppressed M9. After a full magazine of headshots, he was still laughing at me about how he does not feel pain. Then I was like this in my mind: "Okay, you may don't feel pain. But I did shot you in the head around 15 times. People can die from thrown in the head by a smaller stone and by the way the kinetic force carried by the 9mm Parabellum and the force of the impact - one round can make a fist's size hole in your head when it's exits at the other side - should have been enough to finish you off. Not to mention your head is now looks like a big rounded cheese with those pretty holes." What I was like in real: "What the f*ck? That's so unfair! F*ck!"

If the officer in the science lab is holding his handgun you still wear the normal soldier uniform. You have to wear the offiver uniform, here in this video the uploader gets it at 3:20.

the only way I beat this level about 10 years ago was to find a room, face the door, toggle the slow mo, and then shoot everybody that comes in until there's no one left.. then i go upstairs and toggle slow mo, and kill scarface.. with every bullet I shoot, the dude throws a monologue of insults at me.. after killing him, I run to the lab, sometimes, I have bullets flying at me and sometimes nothing.. but when ever I get there and they say "find another place to hang around" I shoot them and everybody else.. place the bomb... then run for the plane.. and detonate on the way there.. I tried playing the game again about a year ago and it was extremely difficult.. I could no longer find the key to toggle the slow mo.. so lots of fails before eventually wiping out everybody..

LOL I died standing in front of the plane because I had 4% health left (some shitty AI guard fucked me up). I hate that you always have to use a context menu even if you have to perform quick actions. I only bought this game to verify my steam acc and thought I could play the whole series chronologically. But this game is so frustrating crappy that I think I'll just watch the playthrough and move on to Silent Assassin.

I used to try to kill all guards in the watch towers by knife. The order is important, because they all face the same direction, must kill from the last row and the front row. So I can use the sniper gun. But, the worse about this part is, YOU CANNOT ENSURE THAT YOU CAN CLIMB DOWN THE STAIRS SAFELY! The half of the time I just fall and die........ fucking shit. So I passed the game with cheat. But it's cool seeing this video. One doubt: the bodies outside the doors, they could be seen by guards passing by. How can you avoid it?
