Hitomi definitely didn't have an easy time with the Indian player who was using anti-spin rubber. She had to use all her experience and skills to defeat Ghorpade who beat a couple of Chinese on her way to the finals. In my opinion, she and her doubles partner Honoka Hashimoto are currently the best choppers/defenders among the women players although they lost to another Japanese pair in the final of this WTT tournament.

Suh hyu won and Linda Bergstrom are both good too.

@@moncefb.5927 Yes, I agree both Suh and Bergstrom are quite good but not as good as Hashimoto or Sato. China's young chopper Yang Yiyun and Japan's Haruna Ojio are also among the world's best defenders and should reach their peak in a couple of years time.

@@moncefb.5927 Most of the best modern defenders can be seen only among the women players. Among the men, there are several; Ruwen Filus of Germany, Wang Yang of Slovakia and Gionis of Greece but they are nowhere as good as Joo See Hyuk who has retired. Ma Te and Hou Yingchao of China are also good but do not participate much in international tournaments. A promising young Chinese chopper is Sun Yang who has won some junior titles. Even Ma Long was impressed with this young player who can both defend and attack well.

@@chosett thank you for sharing your knowledge with me. I completely agree with everything you said. Ruwen Filus was my favorite player at the very beginning. except that he's been playing less and less well lately. I have never missed a single game of all the players you just mentioned except for SUN YANG who I am about to discover right now. 👍🏻👌🏻

久しぶりの優勝、おめでとうございます。ミキハウス同士討ちが多くて、ミキハウスを応援している身としてはちょっと歯がゆい気もしますが。。特に橋本帆乃香選手との同士討ち海外で多くないですか？カットマンが同士討ちはもったいないので、２人でダブルスを組むより、ミキハウスメンバーをもっとばらけて大会に送り込むのがいいのでは？今は大藤・横井のグループと芝田・橋本・佐藤のグループに分かれているようですが。。みんなに勝ってほしい、フィーダーあたりでは。
