In case you’re interested in the anime it’s called Hitori no Shita this part of the game is specifically season 3 but season 1-2 is on crunchyroll. Season 3 isn’t unfortunately and it’s only available in Chinese as this is a Chinese anime. The first 2 seasons are dubbed in Japanese

It looks really good at first glance, but the animations seem rigid and not well connected with each other and this being a fighting maybe technical game it's not something good. Being a fan I'll keep an eye on this game, but I hope there were less particle effects and more polishing on the animation side. P.S. it looks like they can only walk in 8 directions, meaning all the movemente is connected to properly chaining the attacks.

I dunno, it looks well animated mostly just _very_ snappy like an Action game in the way it's keyframed, which tbh is fine. Tho they could do with more in-betweens. On the movement again, I think it might be on purpose in an attempt to go along with the snappy feel, and to help it stand out from the crowd. Or it's just an early build thing. Whether any of this will feel good to play or not is another story. I don't mind FX heavy games, as long as it's not blinding me to the action.

I suppose this is an anime that I don't know about, but the game looks thrilling. A fighting game with a mission based campaign is often a game I like, the first one I played like that was Tekken 5 and I loved it. I like the fact the animations are kind of like the anime, with frame skip to make them look like they're hand-made, reminds of when I read about DBZ Kakarot devs trying to achieve this in their game but since it was open world it was difficult. They could've made it like this game where not all animations are like that, just some of them and in specific moments. I just wish that one day new technologies allow developers to implement new visual improvements in this regard to make games like this look just like anime
