Kelly and Chris Brown only have 2, Usher is tied with Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye with 13 R&B and hip-hop #1's. Hey there! Great reaction and you're correct, the Halftime artists aren't paid, they are given a budget of $15 Million and if they want to, they can spend their own money to assist with expenses. Also yes most artists have a MAJOR increase in streaming numbers, tickets sales if they have a concert and merchandise, so he's good (thus why he dropped his album immediately after this show and announced his tour a little bit beforehand) 😅
