Why aren't you giving them a full feeding..they both were underfed..the little one at the very least should have been administered and offered no less than one liter. That bottle was hardly sufficient and nowhere near adequate in portion or nutritional standards regardless of concentration.

Think this is a zoo so raising them for slaughter sounds a bit off. So I'm gonna give a stab at this and why they may have done it. I think they do it so the animals are used to humans as these types of animals are kept in petting zoo settings. That is only reason I can see for them taking these babies at birth.

ruhi samani I was wondering the same thing, I'm really tired of animals being removed from their mother. Separating mother and baby from the rest of them for awhile, but never baby from mother who gives antibodies much needed at birth through her milk.

She ran away from the baby after she stood up.. did you not notice that? She didn't bother to start cleaning the baby or anything.. just left it there, some zoo animals aren't good parents and it's better to take the baby away from a parent who might reject the baby to the point of attacking or hurting it. As sad as this is.. it happens and they did the best they could with how the situation played out, she didn't want it.

It's written in the video that the zoo keepers had been observing the situation for a while before taking the baby sheep away, as a result, it looked like the mom didn't want to raise the child so the baby was taken away (or else the adult sheeps will accidentally step on it etc) What sadden me is the mom had to gave birth in such stressfull situation. Maybe the zoo keepers didn't hink the birth due will be that day or something thus didn't take her to a special place etc. 子供が多くてうるさいですね。。。でもひつじちゃんは無事で生まれてきてよかったです。可愛いいひつじちゃん達(*´▽｀*)
