My favorite cover athlete is MLB the show 17 Ken Griffey Jr. The only reason I picked that cover is because that was the only MLB the show experience I ever had in my video game playing career. I was over at a family member's house at the time. MLB 2005 (which I rented from the defunct Movie Gallery) was the only other MLB game I did but I only played it for a few days before returning. Maybe soon I will do MLB the show 21 for the Xbox 1.

My favorite MLB the show cover is mlb 06 the show, with David Ortiz on the cover. it was the first one I owned for the PSP, I have so much memories playing that game, doing the season mode, and road to the show before it was called road to the show where you could do your at bats but had to control your whole team on defence 😂. MLB 2006 for the PS2 with Vlad on the cover is another cuz it was the first MLB the show I ever played. Its amazing to see how far they come. From the blocky graphics to the true to life graphics they have now. And also seeing them go from a Sony exclusive to being on every console now. I used to own a 360 so I had to settle with the shitty MLB 2k games while PlayStation owners were blessed with the show. As an Xbox one owner. Its so nice to finally have the show and a baseball game worth playing again. And on a unlrelated note. MVP baseball 05 is my favorite baseball game ever. And is the best baseball game ever made

My favorite mlb cover is mlb 23 because I am a huge marlins fan (I know they are not the best) but they mean alot to me, I had a practice ball thrown to me from José Fernández himself back during his rookie year before he sadly passed and since that day I have always loved anything marlins.

I don’t even want to win a copy of anything. But my favorite cover is David Ortiz on MLB 06 the show. I remember walking into the blockbuster with my mom after I had just gotten a PS3 for my birthday (back when the OG PS3 could play PS2 games) and I remember seeing it on the shelf. I then proceeded to probably put over 1000 hours of my young life into it even playing it years after. On my Career mode ( before road to the show, yes I’m old!) I had a squad of myself Travis Hafner and Richie Sexon and we would combine for like 200 HRs ever year shit was absolutely insane. Just whenever I see that cover it brings back great memories
