Hot take, but doing what you can to win isn't toxic. If you feel as if you need to camp to secure a kill, go for it. And as a trade, as soon as you see a teammate is being camped and you won't be able to get them, go do gens. That's how you punish camping. By doing gens. Nothing that blight did the entire match was toxic in my opinion. If anything, Zubat was the most toxic of the two, acting high and mighty and condescending about what the killer brought. In game actions, imo, are not toxic, but making judgements about a survivor or killer based on what they brought, or how they played with their own best interests in mind, definitely is.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while since watching your videos and this might be a decent idea, but why don’t the devs give hooked survivors the same mechanics as the executioners cages? If a killer is nearby, be it in insidious or not, then why not have the entity move them, it’s part of the lord, the entity wants suffering, it wants the hope to be there but extinguished, so if a killer is nearby, have the hooked survivor be moved to another hook, close to a survivor that is outside of the killers terror radius, and make it so when this happens the killer can’t see the hooked survivors hook aura. Just an idea, literally prevents face camping.

Haven't played in over 9 months. However in my 4 games played recently, whether it's to me or my team, if we get 2 gens done the killer immediately starts camping, and >t doesn't even have to be 2 rushed gens. Just 2 in general, pretty pathetic state of the game, I remember 3 Gen protecting to get easy wins as killer, boring as it takes longer but better than camping.

I don‘t play dbd anymore myself, but I still consume dbd content on KZbin and Twitch and I have noticed three things: - survivor players complaining how it‘s the killers ruining the fun of the game by always only bringing the same strong perks and playing the same strong killers with whom they camp and tunnel - killer players complaining how it‘s the survivors ruining the fun of the game by always only brining the same strong perks and strong medkits/toolboxes, genrushing. - both being just a little entitled (cough) If you don‘t enjoy the game, don‘t play it. If you want the game to be different, start with yourself.

In regards to Dead By Daylight, I think the reason for this is the addition of sbmm, highlighting the extreme flaws and inconsistencies that would have gone unnoticed with random matchmaking. Strong killers make strong survivors and vice versa. I propose a system that would only match you against people with similar perks/addons/items to what you're running. I take inspiration from Pokemon for this one. They have a vast amount of matches of competitive nature, but they're seperated by how often Pokemon are used. Less used Pokemon (i.e: less viable ones) are only matched against other less used ones. I think this would work great in a game like DBD where there are so many different comboes to account for and only a couple of them are ever used.

Even having played perfectly, and using pure mathematics, provided that each survivor runs for at least 1 minute in a chase, the other 2 will constantly start pump generators together, and the last one will save everyone. Without Camp or tunnel u has no chance to kill 2 players min. 2 kills 50/50 BHVR balance

The answer to why most blights play scummy and use op shit is an issue with all multiplayer games. Sweats will generally gravitate towards the most powerful character in whatever game they play, for this game they pick blight. "But why not spirit or nurse? Aren't they just as strong if not stronger?" An excellent question, the answer is quite simple however. Let's take two scenario's, in scenario one the new sweat looks at a tier lists looks at the top 3 and has a try of them each. He will no doubt get absolutely stomped as nurse given her high skill floor, he will also struggle as spirit because her playstyle takes a few games to get the hang of. Blight however is perfect, he's easy to understand that's no doubt, he would stomp new players that don't know how to counter his play, and he starts off with excellent add-ons. Both spirit and nurse have busted shit yes, but they require the slightest bit of knowledge about how to play the killer. Blight's add-ons do the opposite, they make his kit even easier to use for newer players. This also makes the grind for meta perks less painful as they already have an extremely powerful kit to tide them over. This ultimately leads to a player with absolutely no idea how to really play, just how to stomp people that don't know better. The second scenario is much rarer as it requires the player to do some research going in. Simply put, they watch gameplay of all three see that blight makes the most sense and there you go. TL:DR New sweats gravitate to blight because of his easy to understand power and readily available add-ons that make him even easier, leading to them being boosted.

reading this hurts my brain, why would you say blight's easy to understand power and addons make him busted because they have an extremely powerful kit and forget that: Spirit: has mother daughter ring and another addon that boosts it even further Requires you to just walk towards a survivor very fast while not being able to see them directly to hit them Nurse: will be getting the range speed blink nerf soon but still broken as hell and will probably keep the 3 blinks red addon the same Requires you to just teleport ontop of a survivor and go through obstacles, walls, windows, pallets pretty much anything a survivor could use to survive at the time to hit them Blight: has to bounce around walls to get to the survivor, if he overshoots; he'll have to spend a wall bounce to get back or slowly walk of shame towards the survivor, has to do tons of fakes during rushes, can easily be countered if the survivor goes around several corners, can be easily countered if you wiggle walk and fake a ton sure nurse and spirit have mind games that can fool them as well but if you think for a second that Nurse or Spirit are harder to master/control than Blight then you pull your thoughts from mars my friend since just the properties/abilities of these 3 killers are enough to understand which among them are stronger

The game isn't meant to be EZ 4 man outs. Sometimes, you have to sacrifice someone to get a 3 man out. Or a 2 man out. The point is, you aren't supposed to be able to 1v1 the killer the entire match and everyone gets out easily. I say that as someone who is currently (in THIS update) a soloq survivor main. Even when I play with my friends, we may try to help each other, but we know when to cut our losses and leave someone to die. If the killer is camping, do gens and let the person on hook hang a bit. If the killer is tunneling, take a bodyblock hit or a down for your teammate or do gens in the background. You have the "audacity" to say that every survivor perk was nerfed into the ground, but they weren't. OTR and BT are great, Dead Hard is great, Prove is more popular than ever, Sprint burst is still strong like before, lithe is great. Sure, 5s DS would be nice, but there are alternatives. That killer did what he could to secure kills, however lazy or boring you think it is. And that's because kills = skill in this system. You want to complain about something? Complain about that, not the perk nerfs that were mostly justified.

@@noOneAskedForHandleOnYT For the 1st 4 survivors, legacy outfits were gained when prestiging during beta. I only have 1 (Jake legs) because I always levelled my characters equally. So yeah it's more prestigious and exclusive than the other stuff. Not sure if newer survivors also gained them temporarily during events or not, I sometimes see newer characters with blighted outfits but I assume that's during the blight announcement event with those wear cancerous flowers you had to cleanse.

No, honestly the blight had every reason to hang around when two of the three were hovering around basement. Think about it. That means that at MOST only one gen is being done, and he's good to hang around. Zubat and the other teammate should have left the moment they realized he intended to camp, or they should have rushed in together, otherwise, they're wasting valuable time.

Maybe, but after that 20 minutes is up it can’t be a win for either side. If that’s all it takes to win for survivors is wait 20 minutes they will all hide instead of doing objectives. If the game had a max time limit it would have to be a bad thing for everyone to reach it.

It is something I've noticed, the entire idea of balancing is solely reliant on how good the team is that's playing there. The amount of variables it's just not worth, but honestly they should just balance around Doctor who had ever fun playing against em yet it's strangely satisying to force them to endure more minutes of shocking. A 5 minute ban is nothing compared to half an hour of Treadment.

Only me who really didn't see the blight camp the basement? Okay so yes the blight was there but we also saw a survivor there too that dropped shack pallet, the blight breaks the pallet and looks around to see it they went to the other corner and saw the person and 5 seconds later he was zooming off after someone else. Do killers now have to leave to the other corner of a map if a survivor dares to loop anywhere near the hook?
