Heyo! I was the Admiral Brass Unsinkable opponent! 😊 I actually got a little nervous at the end, thinking you’d jam Kogla and Yidaro and stabilize from there, because I had only one more 2-drop (EDIT: wait, I think it was the Forerunner, looking back) and then all lands and a Coldsteel Heart that came late to the party - though that might’ve been a cognitive bias, because you couldn’t know that then. And I stalled a bit to close out the game in the end because I was nervously quadruple-checking that I actually did have lethal after blocks, as I was sure you’d beat me if I didn’t, possibly even on the backswing already haha 😬 And for what it’s worth, the deck I used was in fact YOUR Admiral Brass Unsinkable list, from the video you posted 11 days ago, so in that sense you were still the one who won that match 😂 I’ve been playing around with the deck and considering some card choices to tune it... perhaps some different Pirate choices… and how about Faithless Looting or Tainted Indulgence to fuel the graveyard for Brass, or Chart a Course which can also double as efficient card draw? Could put one of those in over Time Warp, for example, which has felt a bit too clunky and unhelpful when I’m behind, but I’d appreciate your opinions 🤔 GGs, thanks for the game and hope to keep watching your awesome content 😄

I love that LVD actually plays to the buzzer. There's a lot of times I'd be trying to get like an "attack with 25 creatures" daily done, finally have the upper hand on a stalled board to throw a good attack out, and the opponent explodes before I could declare it.

Hey LegenVD! If you're looking for some fun inspiration for brewing: the new creature lands keep their abilities when transformed into creatures with "Rebuild the City". Coupled with the Blossoming Tortoise you get some pretty beefy and fun creatures to play around with. I presume you have a long list of decks waiting to be played but it was a fun interaction that I figured out the other day that I thought I would share :) Made a Jund Land Matters deck which does pretty well in standard!

I always wonder how many game LVD has to do for those video to get a bunch of diverse match up. When I play historic brawl 80% of my game are against ramp deck and the game are mostly decided by who go first because going first is often the only way you have to win before the ramp deck get to the turn where they basically have infinite mana/cast their big "I win card"

Historic brawl queue tries to match you against similar power level - there’s several tiers, all based on your commander and how many staple cards you have Hell queue is the top line commanders like Ragavan, rusko, raffine Then there’s top queue which is like nicol the ravager, imoti, azuza So if you’re playing anything in that tier you’ll see a lot of the same commanders and deck types. If you want to ensure playing against aggro you can pick a hell queue commander like atraxa 7 ramp and get matched against either ragavan, raffine or rusko/teferi

Mtg atena matchmaking is RIGGED!! Plenty of empirical sources online to back the data. The algorithm CHOOSES for yhe most part how many matches you'll win and what decks you'll go against and what cards will stastically​be in your and opponents hand@Cadian9t

As a Gishath commander player: Add in some double strike Cards like Duelists heritage and/or triggerdoublers like Roaming Throne or strionic resonator. Nothing quite like searching your top 28 Cards for dinosaurs

There are a lot of Dinos (and cards in general) that aren't on Arena that you could play in Commander, so your best bet is looking at other Gishath lists. EDHREC is a useful resource for this.

This is a question unrelated to the video, but when you order things off of TCGPlayer, does it always come in multiple small packages or is there a way to just have all it arrive at once? Newer player here, ordering singles is hard

It depends from which buyers you select. When I order from them it will group some of the orders but not all. It should tell you at checkout how many packages to expect.
