I hope that Jed Lowrie becomes an analyst at MLB Network when he retires. I think he would add a great perspective since he’s in the league now.

The best piece of advice Lowrie gave in this clip was to forget about mechanics when you're in the box. I started this season hitting well then I started working on my mechanics and trying to take those changes into the box. Wrong answer. When in the box I can serve only one master and that's the ball/pitch location. Mechanics gotta be done without thinking.

Brant was talking about getting in plain early and through the ball ,but the bat close from his back shoulder as he is coming with the swing not dropping the Barrel bellow the hands like you did. Thank you and I LOVE your videos.

Ive noticed that most if not all sluggers keep the front leg locked out straight after the swing.

"Weight on the inside of the back knee, ara you thinking about that at all?" NO. HE'S STAYING LOADED ON TOP OF HIS BACK KNEE, WAITING TO ATTACK WHEN HE'S READY, NOT UP TO GRAVITY.

Derosa hates how the new guys hit now and he shows it in every show lmao. They’re all better hitters than he was swinging down on the ball
@ChairmanMeow13 жыл бұрын
cause he knows he could have hit like 25-30 every year for his peak years probably if he had learned about launch angles, etc

Yeah, the "swing down on the ball" is utter rubbish.
@somerandomguy59774 ай бұрын
MLB hates it too that's why they made rule changes to encourage stealing bases and started enforcing the sticky stuff ban. League batting average was in the low .240s with guys everyone trying to hit bombs. It's dumb and ugly. Look at Joey Gallo, took him like 6 years to hit his first fucking sacrifice fly.
