Hitting Tips For ALL DIFFICULTIES! MLB The Show 23!

I’m playing ‘24, which I’ve never played a mlb game before, and the difficulty I’m having is adjusting to the faster pitches in higher difficulties. It’s not even the velo that changes but just the way the pitch looks coming out the hand. How do you adjust to those pitches in higher difficulties?

You only look at the glove?

I look at the glove until the ball comes out of his hand, then I look at the ball and track it to the box

I’m an bouncing between all star and hall of fame at the moment and I’m not a bad hitter but I feel like there is still so much I can improve on (especially recognizing the pitches out of the hand) and that looking at the glove trick is a real game changer. Thanks man

I don't know what it is about lookin at the Pitcher's glove, but that shit works like magic. I think part of it is it just keeps me focused bc honestly, I do have a tendency to drift off in thought... Nevertheless, it's working! Been hitting nukes like crazy 💥⚾️
