Watching this choked me up... Ice been a delinquent my whole life; never really caring about shit. Once I found Muay Thai, I've never worked harder for anything. Sometimes, I want to train and get so upset when I have bad days. I cry in my car after classes... I've nodded off at red lights going into classes after work... I was in a very lean state for a year just to be ready for any fights. I'll have my third fight this month. This is my fifth year of consistent training(not counting the months gyms were closed). I've skipped Holidays, Birthdays, parties, and all sorts of celebrations for Muay Thai. I've never loved or wanted anything more...

I started having fight of muay thai an year ago, after some suicidal attempts. Muay Thai, and therapy, gave me the strength to finally close up the distance in my life, I am finally happy, or at least I am finally really trying to reach that state of mind. And people really do not understand that. I will be having my 11th fight this weekend. It's the first time with no headgear and no shinguard. I'm starting to feel scared, but I really need to give back to this sport all the things this sport gave to me. So I'm with you brother, your story made me feel so emotional, I hope you will get everything you want in life, and be happy

Man proved everyone wrong. Many of us now are very happy for him and even more proud seeing him so dedicated to the sport. I wish nothing but more success for him wherever he goes whatever promo he's in. And to anyone thinking about trying out the sport. Please don't hesitate man go for it! The General reminds me much of myself. I hope to reach his ranks. Life as a fighter is very unforgiving, brutal, hard to calculate, we merely emulate scenarios thousands and thousands of different ways and sometimes the same thing in those same numbers hoping to sharpen our bodies and minds better than those opponents were up against. Many of us are constantly in search of the best opportunity to make it in this world. For me; I don’t remember how I got here , I just ended up obsessed and doing it over and over, seeking the same high with new coaches and gym partners, but it always brings me the joy I remembered it as. God willing I make it up there to share my story.
