People who don't know Yoshi are probably thinking "wow this youtuber is really good at tennis!"

To be honest, i thought this because i know Nishioka but i did not know the first name. :). And i Was like it's impossible to hit so good at non pro level.

Yoshioto is so humble that even as a ranked 50, he asked Thiem for permission to record. 😍

Thiem is having a difficult time now, and it's glad to see him practice on the court in such a good manner with another impressive tennis player like you. Good job, Mr. Nishioka! Thank you for sharing these contents with us, they're rather useful.
thanks for the English subs! amazing to be able to see so up close you and Thiem and have your commentary!

Love the commentary and description of what goes on in a players head when receiving such crazy balls from pro players. I have no idea how your back was able to return some of these high balls with such power going back at Thiem. I love Thiem's one handed backhand but your 2 hander is something I wish I could have just for a day.

I knew of you as a player but I didn't know you have a youtube channel! Very cool to see with subtitles and a great way to connect with fans!
Oh wowwww...Nishioka san, a top 50 player speaking as humble as an amateur! What great example of player, always respectful in the wins, in the loses and now I see also while training...bravo. I visited Japan a couple of year ago and I was impressed about how respectful you guys are. You have all my admiration and respect. I had never saw your channel before, but now you have gotten another fan...subscribed! Good luck from an Spaniard living in Orlando, Florida!!!

GREAT CONTENT. Just recently started following tennis again and im a big fan now. congrats on beating Isner today!
Hearing him talk about how Thiem hits is literally like a free lesson. Stroke path, spin impart relative to swing plane. This is worth more than someone feeding you backhands for a week. Thanks Yoshi.
I had no idea this would be Nishioka's channel when I clicked the video. Lmao.

Yeah seriously I was so confused clicking on this video. "How did a YT tennis player get to hit with him?! .... *sees last name* Ohhhh 😅 Yes now it makes sense!"

haha same, I thought it was a hitting partner/practice partner-level player. A pleasant surprise to see it was Yoshi!
lol this guy is ranked near ATP 50. I assumed he was much lower by the way he talks about thiem. bro you are on nearly the same level
@commondirtbagz71303 жыл бұрын
They are on the same level. Thiems ball on clay as you can see is very similar to nadals and is just going to be hard to deal with, especially at yoshis height, which makes it impressive he was able to keep up, especially considering it’s thiems favorite surface. If they were on hard it wouldn’t be crazy to think Yoshi could take a set or beat thiem. Most of the difference is tactics and “keeping your cool”(very general expression of what I mean) during points.

Can almost feel the racket being pulled out of my hand, and my arm aching after the rallies from both of you. Consistency, depth and varieties/power from the ball action, great preparation and footwork distinguish you from an excellent club pro. Very nice video, thanks for sharing.

One of the best tennis videos I've ever seen - the court-level view and the commentary coming from a pro player are extremely useful. THANK YOU, YOSHI!
@TOXRaizou2 жыл бұрын
Indeed. I don't think some of us realize how much of an impact high balls are. It's already difficult to hit a clean shot on a hard court, but when it comes to clay court against players like Thiem or Nadal, it's a nightmare ! And then there is the path you take or the route to come back to the middle of the court in order to not get overwhelmed by the amount of pressure they put over the course of a point...
