My 14yo is getting the new version today(ordered Sunday). We did a bat demo day at end of July and loved the new goods. He didn't care for the new voodoo or Icon. He loves the way the new goods feels. He says it feels more balanced than the 22' version, not so end loaded. He has been using the 22' Goods since it came out. He borrowed another player's 21' Goods in 7th grade and we bought the 22 for him. All have been bbcor bats. We will be trading/selling in his 22' Goods at some point.

@@aaronvance7201 finding the right bat is 95% comfort, i never swung the good because of the weight i could never get consistent barrels. It's definitely a power hitter bat but not exclusively for power hitters. Enrique Bradfeild recent first round draft pick is pretty much a slap hitter and used that bat through all D1 baseball. All in all if he comfortable its the right bat for him

If the NCAA and NFHS went crazy and said everyone can only use one bat, my vote for the best universal bat would be the Select Pwr I strongly believe that you guys should pit the Select 716 against the bonesaber hybrid and the atlas. In my opinion, it's the best louisville bbcor bat ever made

So very true about the “Goods”. If you get used to it, Watch out! My son went from swinging the voodoo one to the Goods and hit with lots of success. Don’t get me wrong he hit well with the voodoo one, but he tells me he loves the Goods now more so ! The combination of power and sweet spot all in one bat. Those features alone are too much to resist. The caveat is getting used to the Goods which he clearly has. He’s 14 yrs old, 5’11” , 163 lbs

Think of it this way: for every bomb that extra 2MPH EV buys you, it'll probably cost you two bombs with all the extra pitches you just slightly miss. Plus it's cheaper...and proven durable. Slugger for me every day of the week and twice on Sunday...and it's not close. (The Goods does look better though...might be worth it for the fashion alone, lol).

Per the LS website, 2023 Select PWR has an updated connection piece and a lighter end cap than 2022 and 2021 👍would love to see more data on average exit speeds rather than going by feel or top exit speeds (might have taken a lot more cuts with The Goods to hit those tanks, we don't know). BBCOR bats can only be so good at the sweet spot, so making the sweet spot bigger is a big goal.
