Cant forget about the red jell they put in the knob to help with the forgiveness of the bat. Excited to see you swing the cat connect too, I personally feel like they changed it to feel more like the goods 2 piece but I could be wrong. Keep it up!

Hey guys. Great vid again!!!! So I purchased the cat X for my son who loves the voodoo one because the knob broke mid last season high school ball. Actually a photo in the local paper of the knob flying off in front of his face. Lol. He wanted the new Voodoo one but got to thinking that the replacement bat we received is the new 2023, same issues. Thoughts on that? I can tell that cat X feels lighter. Using 33". However max, voodoo wins but overall cat X seems very consistent. Question for you all, bigger build but sophomore in high school and looking for advice/ suggestions a bit more heavier but able to control not getting beat. I really wish that they would make another Louisville 918. That bat was the bomb. I know this is a lot but appreciate the videos, they are extremely helpful. Keep them coming!!!!!!!

What size would you recommend for a college player, 33, 33.5, 34? Our school gets marucci/victus for hitters and I’ve mostly stuck to a 33 2017 posey and 33 nox. I’ve also gamed a 34 vandal and voodoo one several times comfortably

from watching the video it sounds like they will probably rate the cat x one piece higher than the victus nox. they rate the nox a 22 and I think the cay x one piece alloy will be rated a 23. 10 for power, 6 sweet spot and 7 swing weight. I dont see how the cat x connect will be much better than that and the cat x one piece is a little cheaper. the cat x will be more balanced and a little lighter where the connect will have a little more endload. depends on your preference. the cat x one piece might be your best option but you can always wait until they review the connect

Hey I’m a freshman in high school and I’m looking for a wood bat for some of my fall wood bat tournaments. I was thinking something like a tatis23, mt27, lindy12, or that American Batsmith birch bat. I’m 5’9 160 just kind of a versatile hitter with lots of contact with some power here and there. Would love to here what you think about the bat and even if you would recommend a 32 or 33 inch(bbcor is currently a 32). Thanks

MT 27 is a great bat. Light swinging and lots of pop. will swing closer to a bbcor and is the lightest out of all the bats you mentioned, a true drop 3. If you go to the old Hickory website they have a steel pressed option to make the wood more dense and hard for slightly better exit velos. Also if you go to the customized options you can get it in birch instead of maple, the stock version comes in maple.
