Great conversation - one I wish more people could hear. I almost wish Grindr, Scruff, etc made listening to this mandatory to use the apps - lol. One question - Patrick - if you didn't have HIV do you think your ability to discuss HIV would be limited? Does having HIV give you carte blanche to discuss all aspects of it from a position of strength? I don't know if that makes sense. Arron - You say a Negative person doesn't really know their status - doesn't someone who is regularly tested AND is taking PrEP regularly just as safe/negative as a positive person who is taking meds and is undetectable???

Hey Mike, thanks for the great questions. I think Aaron meant a Negative person who isn't testing and not on PrEP. Your example is someone who is actively taking care of their sexual health and would know their status for sure. I think if I wasn't HIV+ I would tread more lightly and be more cautious in my approach since my direct experience would be limited. But when it's part of your day to day... you become like an expert and very comfortable talking about issues around it.
