The current standard set consists of bakelite tiles. It only has the pieces for the classic game. The mosquito, ladybug, and pillbug are sold separately. There is no plan to sell the standard set with all expansions. With Hive Carbon and Hive Pocket, the mosquito and ladybug are already included. The great thing with Hive Pocket is that you can bring it almost anywhere. You can use it to study games or puzzles further. Hive Carbon gives you the feel of playing classical chess because of the black and white scheme. If you can easily distinguish shapes, the lack of color differentiation won't really matter.

I love this game also! I have these two versions and hive pocket! I could not stop buying all the versions! I really like the smaller tiles and the pouch for the pocket version
