Hive maps for CTF are absolutely amazing, you can really tell the effort they put in to it. You don’t get that as much on cubecraft CTF. While hive ctf isn’t normal ctf and I can see why some people hate it for that, I think it’s a really interesting take on it and pretty fun. Also sound effects in ctf are so cool compared to the one for cubecraft. Overall more effort and thinking has gone into hive, while cubecraft has replicated normal ctf.

I will say that cubecraft has a cleaner game mainly because they have had it up for a while compared to the hive that still needs changes, for example in the first few days there was a glitch that allowed you to go outside of the map which doesn’t make it sound very good overall cubecrafts mechanisms make it work well and so does the hive

Even though I love Hive,I prefer cubecraft's ctf cuz it feels natural no twists like buying stuff etc but I love how hive also added its own twist but I'd also like it if it was kinda like cubecraft's.

on cubecraft's ctf, you dont actually need to hit when trying to capture the other team's flag you just have to wait on that spot until you got the flag

Like it's really sad to see cubecraft doesn't usually get any attention Like stuffs like kits and CTF/Bridges were there in cubecraft before but noone talked about it but the moment hive added them aswell , everyone started talking about how hive is great Like also with Parkour and the train Am not saying I hate hive I do like hive but cubecraft always gets shadowed

Cubecraft to me is less of a content server and more of just a server for everyone to play. Hive kind of has both of those elements making it more successful for videos, but both servers are great 😃

@@ISAGAARBO98 i mean in player counts only cubecraft is winning but slowly hive is taking over again The thing I wanna say is noone talked about the specialities that cubecraft had but the moment hive gets an update , everyone started talking about hive Have ya seen any video saying "The New Ctf mode is op" or "There is a Parkour mode in cubecraft" or anything like that Like there are 2-3 people doing it but when it comes to give there are over a thousand

Hive CTF can be really fun when you have people to play with but if ur alone and you queue theres a high chance its gonna be against a party of sweats while you have incompetent players, aswell with the TNT doing all of your health, there's lots to work on. Hive CTF as a competitive gamemode is pretty good, but as a casual i would say cubecraft is better

Hives ctf is just a more polished game. Less buggy, plus the overall pvp is better. The knockback on hive is better and hive has better players so more competition. Last of all the maps on hive are most definitely better than cubecraft ctf maps

Hives maps I’d say a worse they are all to similar with strategies on cube you got many, and the PvP style of servers are irrelevant to if the game is good, and hive is more polished as in less buggy and cleaner but that’s it lol

Hive probably made it unlike Cubecraft to make it unique, and they definitely succeeded in that. There are things I like about both games hence why it's hard to really know which is "better". But I do prefer Hive

A way to counter spawn camping is with instant TNT. It can deal over half your health with iron armor or at least from what I have seen. If you stock up 2-3 of those you can kill an entire team.

As a small hive ctf youtuber, if you have chainmail armor, you can insta kill a player with instant tnt.

When I play SkyWard on the Hive, I always get anxious when I see one of the bombs, because they insta-kill you in Capture the Flag lmao

I to be honest say it’s for inconvenient and seems less about capturing the flag than trying to figure out how to prevent them, when you leave your flag is taken so you can’t score, I’ve only completed about 2 games

I figured out speed berries are op because if you get the flag with a speed berry and eat the berry and then get the flag your moving at normal speed I recommend atleast 3 berries 1 for pvp 1 for running at low health 1 for the flag and repeat then boom you have an op item

what I would like to see in ctf is to prevent going out the map and hiding or camping with the flag I would make it to where u can only hold the flag for 2 minutes before its returned edit: the only reason I say this is bc I've held the flag for 6 mins before...

Personally, I prefer the Cubecraft version of Capture The Flag. It has less mods, simpler maps, and I just find it more fun to play for me personally. I tried joining a HIVE Capture The Flag server, got stuck with teammates who didn't know what defense was, and was immediately bombarded by two gung-ho players with TNT. I'd still be open to hear other's opinions on the HIVE version though.

I like cubes better, although it’s more buggy it’s just has more strategic maps, and is less pvp dependent on cube there are ctf scrims hosted and mobiles can play because of the strategic based game

Cubecraft just make it more simple and has less glitches.that's seems to be the main reason Cubecraft now dominate the Bedrock servers industry instead of hive i am also more of a Cubecraft player than a Hive player.Cubecraft also makes you use tactical techniques i mainly craft doors to block them upfor a short time I could only have 15 so it isn't real OP you being able to spam it.

I think that cube crafts is better for beginners cause its more straight fowards and you dont need kills to get better gear incase you are not that good but if u are a try hard like me the hive gives the opportunity to get more blocks and armor whenever u get a kill

Hive CTF has potential to be the best version of CTF with its map design, coin system, and its upgrade system. But right now, its just not fun to play. The fact that you can't capture unless you have your flag at your base results in stalemates that result in both teams camping and the person with the flag being forced into playing a waiting game in hopes their teammates do something. And once you get the flag curse, you're screwed since if two people from the other team come for you, you won't have enough health to fight back and there's nothing you can do. And as a result, the solo queueing experience is an absolute shitshow that just drags on. And even if you don't have the flag, its still terrible since you'll be stuck having to fight the same people over and over again. Its just boring, and that's why you see so many people leaving midway through the game. CubeCraft CTF on the other hand, while not having as good map design or an upgrade system, is much more enjoyable imo. Since the game isn't slowed down as a result of being able to capture regardless of your flag position, matches don't drag as much and there's not as much people camping at the flag. Sure the pickup delay for the flag can be annoying, but it encourages you to prepare to get the flag instead of just rushing without thinking. Idk, that just seems like a better way to do it imo. If Hive had similar flag contesting implementation to CubeCraft, I would play Hive CTF over CubeCraft CTF anyday. But right now, Hive CTF is just so unfun that I can't stand it. And as a result, I never play it.

I'm a year late but idc. I realize that this was a thing in iderations of CTF in other games before MC. However, I still think Hive CTF is better off without the feature of not being able to capture without your flag at your base since it makes matches take longer and it breaks the flow of the game. Because of that, CubeCraft CTF is way more enjoyable to me.

Well,both games are actually fun,and great and has its own twist,but imo,i kinda prefer hive more as i were playinh there much longer,and kinda easier honestly,fps friendly too,but i get why people hate it and prefer cubecraft more because of some "ctf" which something i just heard today- because some players will,well- go camp to your base and whack and bully out their opponents,example us,which is very annoying,and ye,it will give them rage quit,true,but i honestly suggest to quit and rejoin hive for that,bc that changes the server thing i think,same as Among us having different servers but still the same game,and you'll get a different regular game for that,with different friendly players,if you'd get one. (For me-) cubecraft,well it is fun and so,sometimes freakouts from the attacks- but the only things i hate there well- same as the hive issue,some players do love bullying the heck out of the other players,you losing your resources instead of keeping them once respawned,and sometimes our most enemy- : LAGGING, Many players are in there and sometimes at some current playing servers,players keep adding up untill the whole place turned into a warzone- and a bit bad if you're some mobile player who plays this out,with low storage and ram,you'd definately lose- But that's just my opinion,you dont have to take it seriously,just play the game what makes you happy,or game that you like,nobody stops your interest there,alright

Cubecraft ctf is way better, the map looks way better then hive’s in my opinion and hives map is just too big, so hard to capture a flag. Also in cubecraft if ur enemy have insane gears u have a chance to kill them by knocking them into the void, In hive good gears guy it’s so hard to destroy and it’s very annoying

TNT is so op just last day I literally had a triple kill using 1 TNT then got their flag and scored lol I really like Hive CTF better but I would change that capturing mechanics like instead of having to have your flag returned maybe it will have a countdown like 10 seconds before you can capture so the other team can still kill you

cubecraft ctf is just a copy of Hypixel ctf that's why their java server don't get much players as their bedrock does cuz bedrock doesn't have hypixel
