for anyone wondering, this is an amazing figure, that being said though: i do way rather the original release of the GvK. Also, look EXQUISITE BASIC GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS instead, that is the correct name for this figure. The main thing changing the two is the tightness and overall articulation. If you want something to look at, get either just don't get the original release of the KOTM. Many people have reported joints snapping and the quality in the neck feeling like moldable plastic. (this also goes for this figure). Remember, note this is for most people: Get the GvK or skip until G14, since the G14 will have fixed the neck issues along side the articulation and feel (it was confirmed they are making it more articulated).

I would’ve gotten the updated 2021 Godzilla if his teeth were painted and his mouth wasn’t so pink, so I think I’ll wait for 2014 Godzilla. Looks perfect and more articulation is a plus.

ワンフェスは兵庫県のど田舎からは、とても出向くことはままなりませんでしたが、キングオブモンスがエクスプラスより発売決定したのは朗報でした🥳 しかし、海外製フィギュアも当分長らく購入していません。というかカイジュウの海外製フィギュアともなると、サイドショウトイのナイフヘッドとスラターンの２体のみです、、、😮‍💨 パッケージが若干チープというのは私的には案外盲点でした。 先程のサイドショウトイといい、ホットトイズといい、正直ズブの素人なんですが、パッケージがマジックテープ式の観音開きになっっており、開封せずしてモノを観賞できるといった具合に米国製トイのパッケージは何ともコレクタビリティに富んだ造りをしていたという印象が強いので、そこは日本のメーカーにも取り入れて欲しかったとか思っている時期がありましたからねぇ～🤔 というか、今回からですかね？まさかのギャグ要素が盛り込まれていましたね😆 反面、破損が恐いでところですね。当方は念願のファイナルガイガンのアーツを入手して、喜び勇んで開封したレビューアーさんが、直後にガイガンの首のボールジョイントを根本から圧し折って落胆する動画を目にしてしまったことがあるので、ケッコートラウマです☠️

パッケージの箱自体は厚みのある、いい箱を使っているのですが、絵がなんか違和感を感じました😅😅 ギャグ要素というか、正直何回かああいったことがあるんです😂💦 なかなかパーツがつかなくて、ほんとふとした瞬間に吹っ飛んでくとか...💧 ちょっと今回は、HIYAトイズ特有の柔らかさゆえにあの飛び方だったので、珍しくて入れちゃいました😂👍🏻 破損は今のところないのですが、ジョイント部が心配な物と安心してはめれる物、やはり個体やパーツによって様々だと感じました😣！ 破損は絶対に避けたいので、慎重にいきます😅👍🏻

Honestly a great figure but i think ill skip this one and wait until they release their Standard GvK Godzilla AND Godzilla 2014 standard version but great review anyways , looks amazing with that lighting.

I heard hiya toys will be making all the monsterverse titans such as methuselah, behemoth, Scylla, muto queen, flying muto, warbat, red skull crawler, mechagodzilla, and Godzilla 2014. They also revealed at sdcc there upcoming ghidorah figure, 2017 kong, and skull crawler, and one of the mutos from the 2014 film. Hoping they do figures for the new upcoming Godzilla, kong the new empire movie, the the live action tv show as well. Also they revealed they will be doing classic toho Godzilla’s, hopefully they will also make the other kaiju as well, and start with the showa first like 1954 gojira, Godzilla 1955, and angurius 1955, and so forth.

Hi Godzbox I would like to ask if Godzilla's neck joint would be broken or damaged if I posed him shooting the atomic breath upwards for a long time (probably about 2 years or so)

Hi! There is a concern about damage if you display it for a long period of time with the Atomic Breath effect parts, but if you just turn the face up without the effect parts, I would expect that there would probably be no damage 👍🏻🔥

The whole figure doesn't have good articulation in general. I have the new king of monsters version, and it is just a statue as you can hardly get any good poses. More than likely cancelling my pre-order on this radiation version, and the burning godzilla by Hiya. SHMA definitely wins in terms of articulation.

@jrivv2239 Personally, I think Hiya's Godzilla has decent articulation. Certainly not as good as SH Monsterarts, but Hiya's figures are much more solid, half the price and are more accurate to the films.

​@@godzbox01 I recommend getting sh monsterarts kyoto gamera 1999!. Very fantastic figure, got him recently Rebirth gamera and iris comes out later this week. Also thanks for showing the removal of the head/neck to place the alternative head/neck on the figure, it does look like a hassle.

@@godzbox01 If you want a proper idea of how good kyoto gamera is, I recommend looking at reviews of the older 2018 release. It was a good figure but the paint job on the teeth was horrible. This new release has a new updated head sculpt that's more accurate to the movie. A new accessory and a much better and more accurate paint job. A big improvement over the 2018 version. I do recommend watching the heisei gamera trilogy and gamera rebirth when it comes out in September
