HJD, It doesn't make sense to me they would. Put that much effort into Kong for him to basically just be a prop. I think they have to have something up their sleeve for Kong. I'll be really disappointed if not. I'm thinking they could have an end of season event with Kong VS Zilla. Kind of like the old Bots VS Mechs battle. I mean, that was Epic! I want the LTM to be like this. TEAM 1: GODZILLA The Godzilla Team have to collect the Godzilla Fragments (get in BR if you shoot his purple spines) and if you collect 12 Fragments, Godzilla Spawns. (one player will turn into Godzilla depending on how many shards they collected) TEAM 2: KONG Team Kong has to defend the fragments from being collected, if they are collected, there will be a portal at Shattered Span, and first one to reach it turns into Kong. OVERVIEW One player will be kong and one will be Godzilla, team Godzilla has to help take out Kong, and Team Kong has to help take out Godzilla.

My guess would be like for the kong medallion you have to defeat godzilla as king kong to get his medallion because if it was a boss/npc we have to fight it wouldn't be fair because godzilla got a massive version of itself and kong wouldn't it just wouldn't be fair but thats my conclusion that we have to fight godzilla to get kongs medallion and whoever does the most dmg to godzilla they would get the medallion but if you defeated godzilla as king kong you would get the medallion or iff godzilla defeated you as king kong no one would get the kong medallion

My first match in, the day of the Godzilla event, I was playing trios with my two younger sisters. We saw the portal open all the way across the map, and Immediately jumped in an suv. We got there just in time and I was able to be Godzilla. It was NOT fun. I had like 7 teams firing on me from all over, and kept getting interrupted by his wounding animations while I trying to attack. I think I eliminated one guy. My health bar dropped to half in less than 30 seconds. My sisters had fun with it though, because when I dropped in as Godzilla I made his screaming noise, and kept making all sorts of dinosaur sounds. 😂

Kong wont get more than the start animation by a simple thing, Godzilla on the map has a different model than the godzilla skin unlike Kong because it would look silly. If Kong would have a bigger role they wouldve make new model.
