The haircut is actually really nice and trend right now among koreans and east asians! It may look chopped, but after curling and styling it'll really serve the 'layered look', looking very natural yet still having volume. Also the sie parts that fall when you tie your hair, is one of the main points! Many people cut it like this so you don't look bald when tying your hair and instead have natural face framing pieces like yours! I genuinely love your haircut.
