This is just effort. He set up a couple of different camera angles, he has a decent microphone and he takes care of his audio in post. He has a lighting system and uses and he does basic edits with good pacing. He uses basic effects with his overlays and uses free music. I am not knocking it at all, this is all absolutely work but it is base standard. Anything less is lazy or done by someone who doesn’t have the time or training. Some creators have handicaps like health problems or busy schedules with family but if you have the time this is absolutely doable and is basic, there is zero about this effort which is above and beyond. You could do everything here with one microphone, one go pro, some lights and free editing software and free music. If this isn’t your standard you simply are not watching people that put time into production at all. This is what putting time into production looks like. He isn’t doing slo mo, using filters for lighting doing any sort of post effects or using any sophisticated editing, just cuts fades and wipes. A single community college class on adobe premiere and film production would teach all of this and absolutely nothing in this is out of reach from self study on KZbin videos. Props should go to him treating his work with respect, this isn’t anything more than that. It bothers me people have become so complacent that acting with care towards your own art is considered extraordinary. That’s not good, making an effort shouldn’t be winning championships. Yes making an effort in this era of lazy bs is praise worthy but I still think you should discriminate giving an F from all out high production. That’s either because you don’t understand anything about production or you have very low standards when it comes to creators which is fair given Gun creators tend to be less focused on production. Striving for excellence should be part of being American and if it isn’t that is why our country is falling apart. It should be ordinary to put in work not something special. That’s my ideal anyway… I can’t deny that there is a point of view that says it is indeed extraordinary these days.

Nice. My MR556 is in the shop, being converted to a CAG 416D clone. Cerakote and Laser engrave HK markings. I have been collecting HK 416 RAL8000 parts, two more weeks and I can put it all together. It is the closest I will get to an actual 416D CAG rifle.

We tested that igman ammo for over 6months, it is flat out unreliable. 6moa average on a 100 yard zero, multiple flyers in a 9 round shot group. Tested from 11.5s all the way to 16s. Cheap training ammo for 100 and in. Just an fyi for anyone wanting to know after seeing that ammo. Great vid bargain! Great lighting as always.

IMO theirs no questions about it... the now collectable BRN-4 & BRN-7 lowers are basically unfinished German HK 416 & HK417 receivers. Because of the horrible German rules & regulations they were imported unfinished by Brownells directly from HK Germany inventory but finished out here in the USA to get around the "red tape" and into your hands. Also note because both the BRN-4 and BRN-7 lowers are no longer being created thus they are now in very limited supply to buyers... so try to grab one up "if" you can find it!
