HK CC9- Best Micro Compact?

Honestly, I know many guns don’t have them anymore but the grips groves on this pistol and all HK pistols make a big difference in shooting. I’m a huge fan of HK!🙌🏼

Another great review. If I wasn't so in love with all my Shields/Shield Pluses, I might be in the market for one of these. Hell, I might try to get one anyway, once they become more available and holsters and accessories come out as well. The CC9 seems to share in the Shield's pleasant shooting recoil and the good trigger, which are two reasons I love the S&W line. But the more the merrier, and I've never owned an HK before. Seems like the perfect time to get one.

I’m thinking about getting the shield plus I rented it at a range the low recoil impressed me when I tell you the hell cat was awful recoil sheesh but I think I’m going for the plus an end with this also but I hate the gougers online these pistols going for 800$ smh I’m not paying that when I can get a plus for 450$ optic ready and tritium sites

Got mine yesterday. Mine doesn’t have the labels on the mags. Put a sign Romeo on it. Love this thing.

Looks pretty solid for sure. It’s simple and subdued and I don’t see why someone would bash it for looks. The form factor is good.. as long as it functions reliably and is accurate then good to go 👍

I honestly was hesitant to even buy it, but then I picked it up and felt it in the store and I was like ummm, yes please. Now after shooting it, very happy with my decision!

They had been testing this pistol for quite a while. I remember when the original design was a single stack, much like the Walther PPS M2, or the S&W Shield, I watched the development up to the day I was laid off from HK USA. One of the best jobs I've had besides working at Cessna, or being in the Army. Great review, I'm hoping they will come out with different color frames since it's a modular pistol.

I owned a Mako, and currently own the cc9. I liked the Mako, although it felt a bit top-heavy in the hand. Good trigger. A bit difficult to reassemble for some reason. I moved on from it because I started getting light strikes, which was a common problem on the early models (don't know if that's been cleaned up). I like my cc9 A LOT more...better ergos, better trigger, and while I've only got 250 flawless rounds through it so far, I've never owned an H&K that had a failure of any kind.

From what I understand, larger capacity mags will be coming and the HK CC9 is modular so grips will be coming as well.

Why are folks complaining about softened lines & rounded corners? The intention is less snag points & drag during draw & reholstering. So what if it's visually similar to a Taurus? If all you care about is looks, buy the Bull.

Both are excellent but I would say different categories for carry. The trigger on The MC9LS is Superior to any CCW pistol in my opinion but man, there's something about the HK CC9 that I just love. Small enough for concealing with a tee shirt but the grip is large enough to actually shoot it well. Plus it has decent capacity for its size and it is modular. The MC9 LS is probably the best slim full size pistol that I've ever shot. It conceals will for its size and shoots fantastic. I would say it's a toss-up, both are great for their category. Both would be a great option.

For the looks I think the problem is that most viewer watch the videos on their small dumbphones and didnt get a big picture. It doesnt look even close to a G3c. But anyhow the G3c looks good to me. Also much more important is how its shoots and how reliable it is. By the way there is a very famous brand what most even find ugly but many still own it because its so reliable.😉

Ok so this is HK not Sig - so when they say they have exhaustively tested this pistol to standards of previous legendary Hk models you can believe them - HK is not gonna roll out a product and say its good to go while they have the public do their beta testing under warranty - cough cough sig
