If you look closely the slide, there's a marking where it written "BE". It corresponds to the year of manufacture. The "B" corresponds to a "1", and the "E" to a "4". Which means it was made in 2014.

Shooting the USP45 shoots like butter. It’s not too snappy and feels like you’re shooting a compact 9mm with a high borax. Even though it’s a 12 round mag it makes up for quick follow up shots with practice.

The usp is my favorite 45, closely followed by the hk45. The hk45 looks better but the usp is hell and back reliable. They do make a compensator for the usp, but if I remember correctly it doesn't go on the rail like the p30, you need a threaded barrel like a 1911 to attach

The usp is the most expensive hk, since it is still imported from Germany. The 9mm is cheaper, not by much my compact 9mm was 900. After 2 years of searching I just found a usp45 and it was 1200 after tax. Well worth it. They feed a usp and an hk45 over 50000 rounds of +p ammo with no breaks of malfunctions with a cleaning, every 20000 rounds

FNX is newer and got a lot of cool stuff to go with it. The USP 45 is almost 30 years old and I would say it’s a pretty solid firearm with the downside being that it’s requires aftermarket parts to mount a light and modifications to add a Red Dot.

@@Hialeah1925 never trust a p227 a lot of parts are prone to breaking. Thats why I got rid of my p227. Kept my p220 and still love it but won't carry it. I understand any gun can break but sigs break in strange ways

FN makes far superior firearms. Th 509 series is better than any glock. Look at the tactical versions 509 tactical fde and 509 sub compact tactical suppressor ready optic ready, the triggers are crisp like apples. They come with tritium suppressor height sights factory. There both ambidextrous. Flocks great hk is great but FN is superior. Shoot one you won't go back. And put the flat backstrap on not that dumb hump one that comes on it.

Aside from the water issue fn pistols swell in direct sunlight light and heat. I watch it happen to the fn45. Had to sit it in the ac for an hour before the gun would fire. Depending where you live you might be ok, but in Florida open carrying my duty weapon, that is an issue

Do you own any FN actually? I own multiple and can tell you right now Glock is better FN trigger is shit only thing better is the sights Glocks have better grip and more customizable options with a FDE model as well. everything you said FN has glocks have the same options +more for half the price

FN guns are overpriced made for call of duty tactitards with no real experience with guns. FNx 45 grip is terrible and it practically melts and flexes like a cheap chinese toy in hot weather. *HK/GLOCK > fn shit*
