That's a pity that our "old" HK8 Ultra do not receive any further firmware update. We absolutely NEED the screen turning on while receiving a notification and music control without Bluetooth steaming over watch's speakers

Very good review iMat! 👍🏻 I see that the updates do not improve the things we ask for in this watch, but at least the always on digital display takes advantage of the pure black of the Amoled screen. We will have to wait for severe updates to the Hello 3+ (or Hello 4) and the W69+, which are the top clones right now according to my criteria. In your purchase links there is a big price difference between one seller and another (€29.90 and €43.41). Hk watches are very faulty. Doesn’t matter how smooth it is, its just not functional and doesn’t look right. Hello watch3+ plus might seem incomplete or not smooth but everything works, all functions work, looks and feels very premium.

I received mine yesterday. First impressions: vibration is not that bad, I’d like to see the full notification once arrives and the screen turns on and finally the rise to wake is too sensitive sometimes. Besides that, I’m satisfied :)

Is important to test the wake up function, for when the watch is not on and someone raises the wrist, does it wake up fine? does it have animation on wake up? is there a delay? etc... that's the most used feature, the older one, the wake up function sucks.

I have the same problem: My watch came with version 1.03 on it but whenever I've checked for firmware updates (the latest check was today, January 18, 2024) Wearfit Pro maintains that I have the latest firmware. As a consequence, some of the bugs remain--including the fact that I cannot get any notifications. In the case of the latter, no amount of restarting, reinstalling, tweaking, etc. has resolved this issue. That, and the ridiculous music player app on the watch make the HK9 ultra2 an absolute dud for me. I tried contacting support through the Wearfit Pro app, but never received a reply. Clearly the company or companies involved in the app and the watch don't care about their customers. As long as they've got their money, they're fine. I won't be buying a watch from them again.

The thing is hello watch 3+ devs aren't gonna make an overall smooth watch even tho it has a very powerful a16 chip inside it. The thing is they just copied everything from the hello watch 3 and since hello watch 3 was incomplete and had very unsmooth animation cuz they were planning to make it smooth after all the bugs were fixed, everyone waited. After the apple watch ultra 2 came out, they decided to ditch the plan and make another watch by just copying UI and everything of hello watch 3 and just changing some UI and animations to the one's that look more like the apple watch ultra 2. Also judging from the activity record application, the gradient background has THE smoothest transitions that has been used in any apple watch ultra 2 replica. Safe to say the devs are either lazy or are just there to get money. Most probably the devs are just "stealing" money from our pockets by selling another of the same product instead of just giving a software update.
