I believe none of the versions he said were true. These types of horrible people have no empathy for others. He only lives for himself. There's no way he would ever tell a side of story where he would look bad in any way. The truth was probably more along the lines of: He WAS on the same bus May was on, but they weren't together. Most likely he was stalking. Somewhere along the way he probably did proposition her, or who knows, maybe she offered him. (Perhaps this was where she had given him her phone number?) And they made the deal, went up to the wood cabin. In May's mind, maybe she had planned on getting away somehow. And meanwhile, in his mind, he probably already knew they were in a remote area, if he had sex with her and then killed her, get his $ back, no one would know. There were no other people involved. The couple he mentioned was totally made up. Its such a rediculous story: the couple were supposedly May's friends or pimps. WHY in the world would they just stand there & allow a stranger they just met, to beat her to death? Why would they help him cover it? They don't even know him! 🤦🏻♀️ In the end, only he knows what really happened, and there's no way he would ever tell the real truth.
