I shop at heb a lot too and am so bummed to see their prices going up. 😩 I know it’s everywhere though. Milk is astronomical and the eggs hurt to buy. Our applesauce isn’t that expensive yet, but probably soon. I should grab some soon to avoid the cost increase

I love the Sarah Lee smart and delicious bread I used to find at target, wal mart or smart and final now I can ONLY find at wal mart so I go and stock up and out into the freezer. Used to cost $3.99 a few years ago, about a year ago it was $4.99 I literally paid $5.99 this weekend at wal mart I got one loaf and will need to find new bread cause $6 is so not happening often

It's not expensive. If you buy a lot of meat & processed foods then it's expensive. You buy real whole foods with reasonable amounts of animal products, inflation is minimal. It's a good thing for a severely obese nation - hopefully people will shift their horrible eating habits.

It's not just the USA. I live in the UK and its sky rocketed in price! Looking at USA hauls I dont see it as expensive compared to us in the United Kingdom
