thanks for the credit! few notes about this: cubemaps are not built because sdk 2013 broke this (and my lostcoast compile is broken) and there's additional effects with built cubemaps between the tram and the boat there's missing models that's why it's broken like this. mid-way there's a ammo stash there are missing scenes for the boat puzzle not missing sounds there were more monastery frescos/paintings shorts_saintsolga, shorts_saintsolga_interior and d2_lostcoast_scene are maps without combat or entities at all. lighting is WIP here the scripts/talker/nags_fisherman.txt is available in 2005 lostcoast too (who knows when that was removed)

It will come, Half life 2 episode 3 is gone forever because valve decided to not do anymore episodic content so that they can work on Half Life 3 on the brand new source 2 engine

We aren't in the 2000's anymore, I'm sure Half-Life 3 is gonna suck or be disappointing. Especially if they use a different engine than the one from 2004-2007, it's likely going to be very poor.

Modders share a source engine license that gives them access to Valve's private online repository of assets and source code, that gets shared around the modding scene and eventually it ends up being posted publicly, sometimes doesn't valve cares but in this case they sent lawyers out to folk (me) get it off the net.
