The testimonies in here have encouraged me so much I feel pressed to share mine even though I feel a little scared to do so . The greatest gift that receiving and dwelling in Jesus did for me was giving me an identity that had absolutely nothing to do with where I come from, who I come from or how I come about. I grew up in a traumatic broken home with a lot of domestic violence and abuse in many of its shapes and forms. For years and years. I did not study much for my matric year because my parents were at the time In and out of court and it was such a daunting time in my life but by the grace of a God who had a plan for my life, I made it into medical school. 6 years later, I am a qualified doctor from a broken home, healed from a traumatic childhood and years of living in fear and discomfort. God is so good. He saves, he redeems, he restores, he heals and gives so much peace. He gave me an identity and nobody looks at me and sees where I come from. He can do the same for you!
