I was one of the first people to play this song. He made it for our county honor band and he even conducted it. What a legendary piece and a legendary man!!

beautiful horn parts, woodwind runs, powerful low brass moments, trumpet and horn melodies. or in other words, a galante piece
@spookety9024 жыл бұрын
the way i see his music is that he is telling the story of a journey that spans across multiple pieces and the reason each piece sounds like one another is because we are following the main character in each piece

Now, THIS is what a great concert band score should sound like. Like very epic movie soundtrack.

It is Galante style indeed... Also there's a part of Mt. Everest included?? And so on, oboes and tubas are crying...

I can hear the Everest parts in there, starting around 2:25. He never ends the phrase as he does in Everest but I can hear it. Although with Galante everything sounds the same. Lyrical and horn solis

I hear a little bit of Avengers and Star Wars... Specifcally I heard the Avengers theme from age of ultron and twin suns from starwars(or the force theme)

Wonderful piece, I love Rossano's style. The community band I play with commissioned a piece for our 35th anniversary concert, it was great!

Isn’t that motif dah da d da dah that comes in at 2:25 from Mt. Everest? Not that I’m complaining. That’s probably my favorite piece I’ve ever played
@tylercoughranmusic2 жыл бұрын
Well I know 2:14 is Mt. Everest in a minor key.

That woodwind triplet stuff and sixteenth note patterns seems like it was reused from Red Rock Mountain and Mt. Everest 😂 Seems like a staple for Galante

Amazing song, but RIP to the mallets player. I can hear that they were a little bit out of time, and I can relate (having have been that person at the most inopportune of times myself)

Pretty good pièce .... Its sound a bit like a vidéo game pièce (warcraft)
